Quality has seriously declined. The service has also tanked! Picked up our dinner through the drive thru and once we got home we found several pieces of plastic in our meals. I reached out for a refund (as we def can’t eat that) and was offered a credit less than what I had left as a tip.

Honestly the food was unbearable, was not tasty, was not good very bland very cold and it was just terrible. Will never eat here again. Don’t come here ever its gross, food has no flavor and is very expensive.

We stopped in for lunch and the customer service was top-notch. They are an authentic Mexican restaurant with real Mexican foods.
The food that we got was not only delicious but pretty to look at.
There was plenty of seating and it was very clean.
They do not serve fountain drinks so if you order a soda you will choose between a bottle or a can. Water also comes in a bottle.

El Rey was a great restaurant when they first started, now they are probably the most expensive taqueria in dalton and very cheap about everything! if you order to go,you are limited to 1green 1red 1gauc sauce(very small containers by the way) even if you have 3 orders for 3 different people! (each sauce is .50 if you want to buy enough for everyone)
p.s. your already expensive give people sauce, if i go sit down in the restaurant i could have as much sauce as i want but TO GO everyone’s gotta share this ⬇️⬇️

The food was great and the baked goods are wonderful as well. Best thing was the prices, great value for your money. The day before spent $45 at a similar place for just two plates of food. Here we spent $35 on two plates, drinks, and two desserts. One was six pieces of cake and I choose the pound cake which was equivalent to at least half of a full cake.

The girl that attended us was nice but the food was so disgusting. My husband had a torta and it had 1 tsp of meat and my refried beans were rotten and my chicken was sitting there cause it was so dry. My rice was also hard which it either wasn’t cooked through or had also been sitting there. They will get my money again. Go next door to puritas instead they never disappoint!
