Ummmm I don’t even quite know where to begin on this!! We used to come here all the time and hadn’t been in awhile. So today we were nearby and stopped in. When we pulled up, there was only 1 car in the lot, UNUSUAL!! We read the sign on the door upon entering that reads along the lines of “we charge an additional 15% for dining in”. We still went in, only 1 couple inside dining. The server was pleasant and quick to come bring us our menus.
Then it went down hill at that point. We opened the menu to find no pricing whatsoever on it! When we asked the young lady about it, she ran over to the register really quick and came back and asked us what we wanted and she would look the price up for us. And please understand that price is NOT the issue, the just the lack of pricing on the menu combined with the 15% surcharge for dining in along with the surcharge that we know is charged for using a card seems like a a lot of shadiness and deception from the establishment.

The place smelled amazing, too bad we decided to leave and eat elsewhere.

My first impression wasn’t the best. The tortilla chips were ok, but to compare to every tortilla chip I’ve ever had, they would be in the bottom 20%. I ordered a strawberry margarita but I think my server on this particular Sunday just didn’t know how to make the margaritas look like the ones in Google photos. However, the birra torta was excellent. The service was very good, and the atmosphere inviting. Their hot sauce is very much what I like in a hot sauce too. Bold, dark, smokey, and HOT.

Very overpriced for the experience. I paid about $60 for two people. Even though it wasn’t busy, it took a long time to receive drinks and food. When the plates arrived, the plate itself was hot, but the rice and shrimp were cold while only the bean sauce was warm. For the price, I expected better attention to food temperature and service. I didn’t even take a picture of the food because I was ready to leave.

no one was in the restaurant the whole time my girlfriend and i were there. looking at the menu, nothing was priced and that was an immediate red flag. my girlfriend watched one of the waitresses pour old salsa from a previous guest into a new bottle of salsa. that was disappointing and gross. the food was very bland when it arrived and lukewarm. when i went to the counter and paid, i noticed a 15% service fee on my bill. me asking the lady what it was for, she started to explain but ended up taking it off like it didn’t even exist. i can see why no one comes to this place because these people are charging guests to even come into their restaurant. how ridiculous is that? and for the price of everything being 30 dollars for two burritos and a 5 dollar lemonade, i could get the same stuff with two drinks and chips for the same price down the road at chipotle. never going here again.

We stopped at Taqueria El Ranchito for an early dinner. We were the only ones in the restaurant but still had a great meal. The food came out hot and fresh and the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is decorated like a party and they have a couple TVs with sports on them.

Ordered online and arrived to pick up 30 min later…you wont believe it but my order never came through. I ordered again and was told 10 min…..15 min later the waitress went back to check on the order and they hadn’t even started it. 10 min later my food was ready. Got home and the food was very disappointing. Rice was old and hard… beans taste like crap and very watery. The steak tacos were bland and very fatty. Forgot to mention the limes were dry and old also. The only thing good was the jarritos. An hour of my life and 40 some dollars I’ll never get back.

We got into Fort Wayne late in the evening and we’re craving tacos. We hit the jackpot with this spot open super late (early). Even the Tamal was delicious, and shamefully they’re usually not my favorite. Everything was perfectly prepared, and we’ll packaged, important since it was about 30 minutes before we got it home to eat. We had tacos, elote, asada and pastor taco, asada burrito, and if course that delicious tamale! I recommend them all!

Ordered some food including 20 steak tacos and requested 5 to be made with only cilantro and sour cream. We drove about 15 minutes there and back to the restaurant and upon picking up our order and returning home, we realized all 20 tacos were made with only cilantro and sour cream. After calling the restaurant and letting them know, they offered to remake the 15 tacos as regular. We drove another 15 minutes to the restaurant and back, and once we got there to pick up the tacos, they informed us that without the other 15 incorrect tacos to “trade” for the correct ones, we would have to pay extra for them. After calling the restaurant, they told us we were supposed to check the food at the restaurant to make sure they were correct & they wouldn’t offer a refund since we didn’t return the other tacos. So on top of driving about an hour just to get our correct order, we had to pay an extra $30!!! In total $130 + $15 tip to this restaurant. Waste of time & money. 0/10 don’t recommend.

They were good 10 years ago. Now they charge an extra fee for dining in because they want to be delivery only, unfortunately they can never get an order right to even be a good delivery restaurant. RIP.

There are much better places near by. I ordered takeout later at night which is why I tried this place out. Not good. Chicken chimichanga was mostly beans and rice. The chicken that was there was dry and scary. A shame really. It seems like they stuffed things they had left over from the day in it.
