Holy Mexican food! The BEST Mexican food I have ever tried in my life! Fresh, simple, delicious. The service was outstanding; our waitress was the sweetest human on the planet. Will be back for sure.

I can’t speak for authenticity but I can say that we had a very tasty and hot meal on our visit to Bloomington today. The salsa was very nicely flavored (my wife thought it was spicy but I loved it); the guacamole was more her taste. As soon as I saw that they offered cow tongue I knew I was going to get that. I had the cow tongue burrito and the meat was cooked PERFECTLY and was very flavorful. My wife had the fish tacos and she liked them a lot. Our toddler enjoyed picking apart the tacos, and I had the other one (beef) and it was very good. The service was great as well. Whenever we come back through town we will be 100% be back here!

My daughter and I went for dinner, and our server was very much unkind to us. We were served a half basket of cold chips, we were left alone for a long time and not helped to order. We had to ask if we could order, and when we asked for more chips, we had to ask for that several times. It was as if we were bothering her. We watched as she checked on everyone except for us. I just wanted to pay and leave at that point. Use to be a favorite spot for me but I will never return.

We are verrry particular with authentic Mexican food. I want to say this is one of the most delicious and authentic restaurants in Central Illinois. The waiters were very attentive despite of how packed the place was! We loved absolutely everything we ate and are willing to drive an hour to be back!

Excellent food. Chicken flautas really good. Fish tacos were great and beef nachos amazing. Place is kinda small. But its super authentic and very good food. Service was excellent. Definitely a good stop. Pepsi products and ice tea was great!

Service was bad, the waitress was being everywhere, she sat us down, brought 2 of 4 drinks and ok, then went to sat someone else and took them thre drinks, chips n salsa. We were thinking we would have to order chips, then she sat someone else, a n d finally our chips came. The menu has no description of what is on or whT is included on plates. We asked the waitress and she confused us. Half our order was not good as she confused us and we did not get what we thought.

HOLA, so we went right before lunch and got to seat ourselves. La Señora who served us was very friendly and professional (plus she took my side on a bet at the table. Haha). Anyways, we ordered the Cecina Chimichanga that came with beans/rice/salad mix. It’s was very good and filling (as you see in pic i actually took half plate home). We also ordered tacos of chili rellenos/ asada/tripa/lengua (never go wrong with tacos here). The only thing i would say is for six tacos only 2 pieces of lime were on the plate (i suppose some people don’t use them and for that reason they do that so not too waste). The Horchata is a MUST! I tried the peach margarita ( it was in a can) it was different but 10% alcohol def felt it. He had XX dark (it’s beer not much more to say about that). The entrance is accessible to wheelchairs, however it would be a tight fit to the restrooms (so that’s a so so). Prices are reasonable for the area. THIS IS A PLACE I RECOMMEND FOR GOOD MEXICAN FOOD..

I’ve tried all of the “Mexican” restaurant here in town and as someone who lives in chicago and gets to taste actual authentic Mexican food, this restaurant is by far the best place for Mexican food in town! Other places I feel are more hyped up because college students don’t have actual taste buds and will eat anything as long as they have margaritas with it, but if you are wondering on a location to taste great Mexican food!! This is it!! Not to mention the salsas are actually spicy! For those who can tolerate it!! The horchata is great! And their micheladas really cured my hangover, IYKYK! Over all the staff is amazing! Very sweet people and very professional! It’s the only spot I go to for when ever I’m craving some tacos! Took my Mexican parents here once and they loved it! So 10/10!! Would definitely recommend this place!
