If you are looking for the gold standard of tacos, this is it. I’ve had my fair share of street tacos, but Taquería El Poblano is on another level. The meat is perfectly seasoned—charred on the outside but incredibly juicy—and you can tell they don’t cut corners on quality.
The handmade tortillas are the real game-changer here; they have that perfect chew and hold up against the generous portions of meat and salsa. Speaking of salsa, theirs actually has a kick and layers of flavor, not just heat for the sake of heat. It’s busy, but the energy is great and the food comes out fast. Easily some of the best tacos I’ve ever tried. Do not skip this place.

Finally got to try this place out i followed them on Instagram from the beginning of their journey amd now to see them with multiple locations it is amazing to see, thank you for the food and service keep striving for more, I am here if you guys want to expand into new a state like AZ. I welcome you to new opportunities and new markets. Purchased Birria Tacos and Tacos made with Corn Flour(Gluten-free) thats loaded with Cheese and Meat of choice, Carne Asada and Al Pastor(Favorite) were our choices. #sirmaloperformance on YouTube & TikTok.

The service was ok. Cashier was courteous. The order was served quickly within 5 minutes. Got a Vampiro, Burrito, and Birria taco. The portion were fair for the price. The taste was average, nothing special about it. A good taco needs a good Salsa. That wasn’t the case.

If you like Tijuana style tacos, this place is pretty good. Tacos and mulitas are on point. They come with guac as it is TJ style. There aren’t a ton of meat options, lengua would be a nice addition. I wish they had a salsa bar with more options; I always get the red salsa. It’s spicy but not entirely blended, has the consistency of a pico/fresh salsa. I’ve gone in the afternoon and late at night and there are usually working ladies in the area/parking lot. Area is a little shady.

I was recommended this place by my freind who would not stop talking about how good the food was. After seeing and tasting it for myself I’m afraid she was right. I was missing out! When I entered, the restaurant was clean and well kept. Once I went to the register there was a sweet girl taking my order. If I remember correctly her name was Alexandra. The food came out really fast and it was hot! I tried the tacos with the guacamole which has some controversy but I personally loved it! Overall service:10/10, taste: 10/10, and restaurant 10000/10 I could not recommend this place more!!!

I received a coupon on my receipt from the La Habra Albertsons, but as it’s a franchise, I used it at the Pomona location while visiting family. It was the best deal I’ve ever gotten! The food was delicious, the customer service was exceptional, and the restaurant was roomy and impeccably clean. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to everyone!
