Authentic experience on a level i have not yet seen in Oregon. So glad I found it. Unexpected gem of a hole in the wall. Be prepared that although there is an indoors, it is not heated and the door stays open to allow for the chef to operate out front, so bring a jacket it its cold out. Limited seating, so view ut as a taco stand. overall all well worth the price point. Loved it…oh and did i forget to mention the cactus salsa at the salsa bar!!!

Absolutely excellent tacos and great, quick service. I just dropped by and the cashier was incredibly nice and my food was made right in front of me, fresh to order. The pastor and asada tacos were flavorful and delicious. They come with two soft corn tortillas and meat for $3 each, and you load up your toppings and salsas yourself. Their salsa bar is AMAZING. You’ve gained a big fan, street tacos don’t get more authentic than this. GO HERE and tip these lovely folks well! Thanks y’all!

I ordered from Taqueria El Paisano on DoorDash and WOW… this place seriously blew my mind.
Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. The tacos were packed, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, not dry or bland like a lot of late night spots. You can tell they actually care about their food. The toppings were crisp, the salsa had the perfect kick, and every bite was so satisfying.
Even through delivery, the food held up amazingly well and still tasted hot and fresh. That says a lot.
This is officially my new comfort taco spot. Affordable, delicious, and hits every time. If you’re craving authentic, no nonsense Mexican food, don’t even think twice, just order.
Can’t wait to try more from their menu next doordash!

Casually passed by and had to turn around to try this tacos, anyone that lived or has been to California knows there’s very very few good places to eat tacos in the area. Well I think we’ve found the one, on weekends they close at 5AM!
I bought 2 burritos and 4 tacos( it was a bit pricey at $44 with no drink) they have a HUGE salsa bar I loved the butrito and the tacos but their salsa was out of this world, it’s not just spicy but it has the perfect combination of flavor and spice.
We live 30 plus minutes away but will gladly return to try them again and eat in as I’m sure it’s better warm and fresh.
Try them! You won’t regret it

Didn’t call our order and waited for 45 minutes. When we went to check on it he said he’d already given it to someone else because he had been calling out our order number continuously. When we know he hadn’t because we were sitting in front of the stand. When we confronted him about it he told my husband he had to wait for them to remake our order and that they “were all men there”. Obviously we had to wait even longer for them to remake our order. When we got home we noticed we were missing an order of 4 tacos ♀️ Asada is dry and lacks flavor. Al pastor is okay and carnitas are okay too. Absolutely not going back.

Every time I come here the cashier guy is always on his phone making people wait more than usual for simple carne asada tacos. He doesn’t care customers are hungry in fact there’s one guy right now because he order is not made (Sunday 8:30pm ) and has 30 minutes waiting ! Service sucks with this guy!

Friendly service. Fast, fresh, good food.
The burrito I had was on point. I was with 2 other people, and they thoroughly enjoyed their tacos and burrito saying “Amazing” and “Definitely one of Portlands top burritos.” There is a self-serve toppings bar inside with a good variety of sauces and more.

Great authentic Mexican street food spot.
Menu items are priced fairly and there’s even a salsa bar at no extra charge.
Can easily walk up and order, or use Door Dash for pickup/delivery.
It’s worth trying if you’re in the area and/or looking for a decent meal at the time of night when everywhere else is closed.

Overall a bad experience. Tacos lacked flavor while the meat tasted odd. Drinks were bad. You can tell they have been sitting there. Even if you tried mixing them they were not good. Service was mediocre at best. They forgot one of our plates and also gave attitude when we asked about the drinks.

As I’ve lived in this area for almost 2 years now, I did know this place existed until a couple days ago. When you go to this location, you have the genuine feel of authentic Hispanic food. I ordered a carne asada burrito with rice and beans within the burrito and it ending up excellent. The amazing thing was that everything is cooked right in front of you of the grill fresh.
