A simple, homey, and clean atmosphere, with excellent Hondorian food and friendly service. I had the Huarache Pollo with slices of avocado added. It’s one of their signature dishes and it was amazing!

Absolutely excellent, authentic Mexican food, and popsicles they make there are incredible (dozens of unique flavors, real fruit, etc., made in-house). The owners had leased the restaurant out for a while, but they resumed management and reopened in May, restoring the authenticity and fresh ingredient quality that drove their success in earlier years. I can only comment on what they have now, and it’s special.
The restaurant is small, just a few tables inside, and a nice sized seating area outside. You order at the counter, and the people there are very helpful with the menu, since it has some things (like huarches) that aren’t on the standard cookie cutter Tex-Mex menu.
The whole experience was positive. Está delicioso.
Quick note: They are still trying to change the online menu and phone number. The menu you see on Google, etc. does not quite match what they have now.

Honestly a wonderful place to eat, I’m mainly making this review because there is an old review of roaches but want to let people know that management changed since then and they have cleaned the entire property. The ppl who were running it before did not maintain that place AT ALL. The old management left owners of the property with a big mess. The place was fumigated several times again, new equipment was bought, and it’s super clean now! Please give them a try and ignore that old post. I know the owners deep clean once a week and clean their kitchen every night and throughout the day. I’ve been to the back because their bathroom is there and it is so clean! I don’t have photos but I highly encourage you to check it out.

Delicious, really authentic, Carne asada tacos. The tortillas held up really well. They came with green and red salsa, both very tasty!
We also got a huaraches. These also had good flavor, but the design, having the beans inside of the shell, meant that they fell apart if we tried to pick them up. We had to eat them with forks, which was provided with the meal, so not a negative, just not what I was expecting from a taqueria.

This will be our new summer spot. My husband and I just had the tacos barillas here and it was so amazing! I also had the coconut ice cream and my husband had the strawberry cheesecake one. To say that was incredible would be an understatement. Love everything about this place.

This was our second time eating here. First time experience was awesome no issues we had tacos and they were so good.
Today I ordered pozole and I kindly told them it was not very good , it was very bland no flavor. I asked if I could trade for a taco or Gordita and they said no. They took my money $12 for soup but did it want to replace or refund. I was very disappointed because I just gave my money away and got nothing Very bad customer service.
My husband had also asked for a tiny sample of menudo and again they said no they couldn’t do that

First time and went through drive thru. I had two carnita tacos that were very tender and delicious, the corn shells were very hot and had great flavor. I will definitely go back to try more, I’d give a five but only had the two tacos. I do wish you could get individual tacos, I asked to get one carnita and one of another meat as it was my first time there but was told I can’t do that. It is family owned which I appreciate.

Update 11/28/2023: Still amazing!!! Got the horchata, the lemonade with lime scoop, tacos el pastor, and the soup & taco special. Everything was sooooooo good
Why haven’t I gone here before!? The food was so, so very good. Ask about the lemonade with ice cream scoops in it!
