We stopped in at Taqueria El Guero Distillery and absolutely loved it! The quesadilla we had was delicious—perfectly cheesy and full of flavor. The margaritas were fantastic too, super refreshing and well made. The atmosphere was great with awesome music and friendly service that made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Morro Bay. Great food, great drinks, great vibes all around!

Passing by it looks inviting and I love a good patio. At first I was bummed it was counter ordering but I completely forgot about it once I took my first bite of the fish tacos. So much flavor! Fish was increased and cooked perfectly. Flavorful sauce and fluffy rice. We looooove to enjoy a good meal and this one is top notch!!! We will be back and we will go home talking about these fish tacos .

This new Mexican Restaurant is a great addition to the Morro Bay Embarcadero. The food is delicious. Everything! In particular the beans, oh my they are savory, light, and creamy. Very friendly management. Prompt, courteous service.

Finally open! I’ve been curious for a while, so I stopped in for some dinner to-go — here’s my take:
To keep it short and sweet: great tacos! The flavor’s solid, the asada isn’t grisly or overly fatty, and it’s cooked just right. The cilantro and onions taste fresh — not like they’ve been sitting out all day. Rice and beans? Exactly how they should be. And the pickled carrots are a nice extra touch. The nachos? Also good — no complaints there.
Now, the burrito… not my favorite. Why? Honestly, it’s the tortilla. Feels like there’s too much of it, and something about it throws it off for me. Kind of surprising, since I usually prefer burritos over tacos — most places don’t get tacos right. Lol. That said, I’ll be giving it another shot tonight just to be sure.
Overall: super friendly service, clean spot, good vibe — and the tacos are definitely a win.

Wife n I had fish n shrimp tacos. Excellent. Salsa is muy picante. Pricy and in the tourist area but still recommended. Too windy to sit outside but on a still night, would have been a really good time.

This place does not disappoint! From the food, the service, and the location it’s set the bar high. The owner and his wife seem like very nice people, and I was pleased to hear all locations are family owned. I had the asada and pastor tacos, and they were both exceptional. Can’t forget the hot sauce! It offers a flavorful heat that goes great with any protein. Highly recommend this place and will be back

Loved this place! The margaritas were delicious and perfectly balanced. The birria quesa taco was warm and comforting (exactly what I wanted on a cold day). The nachos and quesadillas were tasty as well, and every meat we tried was on point: pastor, pollo, birria, and shrimp. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
