In Desert Hot Springs this is one of many Taquerias el Güero, I do have to mention the food never fails unless like many times waitresses are clueless on what they’re doing.

Food overall is well prepared as well as taste and presentation.

I’ve seen that the waitresses lack everything, empathy, service, common sense, be advised English might not be spoken either.

If you go here just take it to go I wouldn’t suggest getting familiar with the service here(because there is none) my suggestion is eat it at home.

Not clean, to my knowledge and the few times I’ve visited.

I would like to try other Taquerias el güero I’m sure there’s a change in at least appearances or the same service.

It is not cheap/FOOD IS NOT AFFORDABLE HERE.
Have that in mind.

We were worried about finding a place to eat at 9:30 p.m., but we came across this restaurant, and the food was really good. A great find!

Food was not good at all rice was hard and old beans were watery and the shrimp was grey and tough also the salsa was flavorless. They also charge for everything you get chip and salsa was 4 bucks a fryed chili was 1.50
Nothing was good here the food the price and also also the server. Please consider coming here to save yourself from the headache and robbery how was it 65$ for 2 people that both got 20$ plates????

When I first walked in it felt like the air conditioner was not working. I order a augua de piña drink which was refreshing . I also ordered a carne asada torta and tasted good considering the bread was burnt. I would consider going back and giving the restaurant another try.

Customer service was decent. They didn’t bring me everything I ordered. Noticing the girl eating chips and licking her fingers made me not want to finish any of my food. The Al Pastor had no flavor and looked very bland. The birria tacos were dry and flavorless as well. Our chimichanga was warm at best with cold beans on the side. Asked for salsa and they bring me one little container for 4 tacos.
This place should not bear the name of “El Guero” as the original place in cathedral city has much more flavor. Definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone.

DELICIOUS!!!! The Restaurant “Taqueria El Guero, Authentic Mexican Food” and it truly is. This place is a Hidden Gem in the Stater Brothers Plaza in the Far Right Corner. You would hardly know it’s there, But!!! you need to know its there!!! The food there is out of this world. So many choices to choose from, and each one made to perfection. I had the Shrimp Fajita and I could not stop eating it. The Owner, Chuy, is also the cook and great personality and our server Griselda Celis speaks Spanish and English and is so friendly and helpful. Great Owner, Great Staff and Fantastic food as you can see in my photos, what more can you ask for. This is a Must Go To Place in Desert Hot Springs. !!!
Address is: 13-156 Palm Drive, Desert Hot Springs.

It tasted great, but I became sick the next day. I’m not sure if it was the food or not. Overall, it’s a great place to eat a little on the pricey side compared to other restaurants around there, though.

I had them customize me a wet fish burrito and it was the best one I’ve found in Palm Springs and honestly in a while I order fish burritos everywhere I go and this one was up there sooo delicious I highly recommend Taqueria El Guero!
