They probably deserve a 4 overall but I’m going based off overall score including service and the tamale. Service was planned, cold, calculated, like a serial killer. The guy at the counter had 0 ounces of personality and made it known, he was 0% friendly and felt like he had no need to. First turn off. Food is what’s important right? That’s what matters, well the food saved this place because it’s the best part. I had a variety of tacos, the best were the tacos de lengua. We ordered costilla en salsa verde (not sure the name on the menu but basically they’re tender ribs/riblets in salsa verde) those were spectacular!!! It wasn’t my meal and I feel like I ate most of it! We decided to eat outside because there really isn’t a place to eat inside the restaurant, besides who would want to eat inside if they could with that guy at the counter. We also had another variety of tacos to try. It was early April and the weather was chilly so we ate quickly and left. Overall, food is great but service and atmosphere that is created could be better and more welcoming.
On a side note, I want to say the way I discovered this place was the night before because I am not a local. I was here for a concert and needed to Door Dash and saw this place. I ordered the mini tacos meal I believe is what it is called. It’s delicious and comes with beans and rice. It was good, filling, and they did a great job of packing all the salsas and condiments/sides. I also ordered a tamale and this is where things went wrong. They sent a tamale that had been put in a microwave for like 10 minutes and was stuck to the paper. It was completely overheated and overcooked.

Great spot to go to for a late night bite after midnight. The little place has everything and anything you might want! The decoration is really cute too. I also loved that they had tables to eat outside. The asada tacos were good but the Al pastor tacos were better. The salsa was the right amount of spicy too. I will definitely come back in the future!

Flavor is ok. Hope it was only my experience but I got a Burrito with pico de Gallo. The tortilla was warm but the meet was cold and dry. Is definitely a pick up and go type of restaurant. Small but I think has what they need to make it work. The menu on the screens are hard to read. It is great they have printed menus.

Ordered through uber eats late at night and not sure if it’s because we ordered at midnight or not but the tacos were extremely dry and the meat was just super dry, I can’t even explain it but you can see from pictures. The tamales, however, absolutely incredible!

The point is, if you want a cool spot to eat great tacos and hang out with friends at a place you’re probably going to talk about to others and want them to try it, well, this isn’t the place. But wait! If you’re hungry and you want something near Santa Ana and don’t want to wait a long time in a long line like at El Cholo’s of Anaheim, then this place is for you. First of all this is a hidden Gem! Abel got the deals 2 classic tamales for only about seven bucks for both…very filling and delicious, call me crazy but a second floor to this unit will be taken to another level because if this is not your first(1st) option it should definitely be your second(2nd). I went with my cousin and my aunt, they ordered 4 burritos and two aguas de Jamaica to go, and we also got a little cheese cake and the rice pudding from the fridge
crazy to gaslight me, when they can check their cameras and can easily see my aunt grab them from their fridge where the sodas are at and watch us pay for them

This is a restaurant that crosses the line with 3rd party delivery drivers by trying to make you swipe your phone to confirm the delivery before giving you the order. That is illegal as you are an independent contractor and at least with GrubHub that I deliver with the order is always prepaid. Doortrash it’s not prepaid and the restaurants don’t get paid until the driver swiped. That’s not my platform and that’s also not a reason to treat the driver like your employee. You want confirmation of delivery and control over my hand and my phone then HIRE YOUR OWN DELIVERY DRIVERS!!
