This is a great restaurant in Cambridge. My girlfriend and I came here on a Saturday and were able to get a table with no reservation. There were a lot of reserved tables though, so it may be a good idea. The food was excellent. Everything came out quickly and was well plated and prepared. The eel Donburi was my favorite. I also really like the salt water fish tank they have in the dining area, it’s a really nice touch. I would certainly come back here again in the future.

We ordered sushi tonight via UberEats from Japas and were disappointed in the quality of the fish. The fish did not taste fresh and lacked flavor. The spicy tuna roll, in particular, was sadly inedible; the tuna was gray and the taste was off putting. We expected better given the reviews, and would not recommend ordering sushi from here.

Amazing sushi! Great quality, fresh and melt in your mouth sashimi and nigiri. Price is also very good for the quality. I will be going back again for sure.

The loveliest and most service oriented people we have met in Cambridge! So knowledgeable about gluten free so I felt completely reassured and my son loved the food. Took one point off for lack of gluten free hot options but I really enjoyed the cold ones and also the hot edamame beans. They brought me special gluten free soy sauce and even offered to give me some to take home. Nice decor and atmosphere- really recommend.

I visited this restaurant with my 7 year old daughter and the gentleman gave us the seat right next to the fish tank to occupy her. When I order her sushi I made a mistake and ordered the wrong kind when it arrived she wouldn’t eat it. So I spoke to the manager and her managed to give her the sushi she wanted for a special price as I only had £30 in cash.
My daughter was very pleased and I’m very grateful he was so accommodating.
The restaurant is snug with an authentic Japanese interior great friendly staff and fast service. The chef is quick and the food tastes great. Highly recommended for an authentic Japanese experience.

Fantastic food and a great authentic experience. Hot foods were fresh and hot and sushi was laid out beautifully. 10/10 would recommend. Walking distance from Cambridge train station too!!

We found this small Japanese , looks authentic … ordered the Guy Don , how disappointing, is not cooked in Japanese way. The beef is stiff. Ask if possible to change it, as is not the guy don That I have come across. They refused to exchange and said just order something else next time ! I’m not coming back for sure , the waitress is lovely, is the management that doesn’t know how to treat their customers ! NOT Recommending this place for sure

Blown away by the quality of the food here, amazing. Don’t let the exterior of the building put you off this is a true hidden gem on the edge of the city centre. It’s also like a TARDIS inside.
All the meals (vegetarian and normal dishes)were perfectly cooked and presented, the chef is excellent. We also tried out first sparkling Sake. Good range of Japanese and far Eastern dishes for everyones palate. A very enjoyable lunch.
