We came in for taco Tuesday.
Our service was outstanding.
I had the horchata to drink and it was very good.
We enjoyed our tacos, they were very tasty and authentic.
I ordered refried beans and they were so good and every thing was such a great price.
They had everything decorated for Valentine’s day. It was adorable and made our lunch feel like an impromptu date.
The atmosphere is so warm and fun. We felt so taken care of by our server. Definitely excited to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Fantastic food and service every time. Try the lengua on doubled up steamed corn tortillas, the al pastor the same way or even the birria tacos with the dipping sauce. You cannot go wrong. For drinks their horchata is always a good choice.
Their prices are affordable, their atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming and the service is unmatched in attentiveness.
I do highly recommend you eat here.

I am always in search of authentic mexican food, and tonight I found it. The shrimp tacos where very flavorful and fesh. The guacamole was also freshly made. I ordered a barbacoa taco to taste it and it was very good. This barbacoa isn’t made with cheek meat which is what I grew up eating but it is still very delicious and I’d recommend it. The server Brenda is the best you’ll find! She is so friendly traets you like family and has amazing people skills! This should be on your list of mexican restaurants to eat. You will not be disappointed.

Found this place while picking up my sons soccer gear. Checked the menu and saw they had al pastor which i have trouble finding in the columbus area. So this review is kinda tough because i only had 1 type of taco so keep that in mind whilw reading. We ordered 4 al pastor tacos and a horchata. I really enjoyed the flavor the combination of raw and sauteed onions was new to me for a taco, but i really enjoyed that. The only thing keeping that taco from a 5 ⭐ is it was missing the crunchy edges. Might be due to how its cooked. Next time (yes there will be a next time) im gonna ask for it cooked a lil charred. The creamy green sauce was awesome, perfect amount of heat for my pallete. The horchata was pretty good, however there was something extra in there I cant put my finger on, allspice or something. Also as heads up they do taco tuesday for 2$/taco. I will be coming in for a large order after the holidays. Thanks so much guys, looking forward to trying more of your food!

The food was absolutely delicious! As were the drinks! Our server and bartender for the evening, Eddie, was awesome! Super friendly and attentive always checking on us making sure we had what we needed. The atmosphere is very festive and welcoming! Would highly recommend if you are wanting authentic Mexican food and service!

Stopped in around 2:30pm and ordered the carne asada with a cold Modelo Negra—yo, this hit the spot! The steak was juicy, the grilled onions were perfect, and the avocado slices were super fresh. Beans, rice, lime—everything just slapped. Chips and salsa came out fast and the salsa had a nice little kick. Chill vibes inside too—bright, colorful, and feels like you’re in a little corner of Mexico. Definitely coming back.

Food is amazing, great birria and street tacos. Best place in town. Half off street tacos on Tuesdays. Small place but comfy, family owned business. Service unfortunately is a hit or miss. The first time we dined here we had a kind and attentive waitress who told us a bit about the restaurant. The second time we got an older curt and forgetful waitress who forgot our drinks and sauce.

I’m always on the hunt for authentic Mexican food and I just found it here. The Birria tacos were amazing! They just started serving margaritas too, and they were legit. Not the cheap, sugary stuff many places serve, but a high quality, well-made drink. The folks there were super nice too. I’ll definitely be back!

In from NC to see family. We found Taqueria El Girasol and I wish we had taken a photo. The restaurant is inviting. The food is fresh, the staff and service excellent. Taco’s, Chicken, El Pastor and the Horchata:) All very good. We can’t wait to come back.
