I got a $2.50 steak taco and it did not disappoint but be careful with that green sauce! Overall very good! Very friendly service. My food was quickly prepared. They give you a beeper to alert you when your food is ready so I chilled out in my car while waiting.

Check your order before you leave, I only did not get the correct order half my order was missing. And when you try to call them to let them know the phone does not answer.
Update: Ate the chicken out of one of the tacos that was supposed to be an enchilada, so salty all I could the eat was a few bites, So much grease it poured out of the container and the refried beans would fall more than category of a soup that refried beans.
Next time driving a little bit further down Pinkhook to the Youngsville highway and get my order from Little Hacienda, much better quality and pricing

The first couple of times I went here as per a recommendation from a coworker, it was 1000% all the way around great. Over the last several months, it has gone downhill and I might even stop eating there. A couple of things to takeaway from me:

1. Street tacos (steak) is a go-to for me. The closest thing to authentic I have found out here. Used to come with grilled onions and a grilled pepper. Last few times I’ve visited they haven’t been part of it. The meat quality has also gone down. Way too many fatty and grizzly pieces.

2. Service. These guys have always been about the business, but lately seem like they don’t care and are even standoffish. That didn’t used to be the case.

3. Atmosphere. It’s a taco truck. Not much to expect here, but it doesn’t feel as welcoming as it used to and it needs a good wash and some air in the tires. It feels as if they are letting go. I really hope they can turn things around because it can and has been great.

Great tacos. Me and my wife had carnitas in Tijuana at one of the best places according to locals. These may be just a touch better than the ones from Tijuana.

This place is pretty authentic and delicious. My favorite is queso birria and ceviche tostadas but everything smacks at this taco spot. Call ahead tho or you might have to wait a bit.
