Though it’s a small spot, the food quality is excellent, and the customer service is outstanding. The shrimp burrito was juicy, flavorful, and served in a reasonable time. Convenient roadside parking is available.

Taqueria El Cruzeros is a dependable go-to spot in Oakland when you’re craving good, straightforward Mexican food. The flavors are on point, portions are generous, and everything comes out fresh and hot. The tacos and burritos especially stand out—well seasoned, satisfying, and made with care. Service is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy, and the vibe feels local and unpretentious. While there’s always room to elevate a dish or two, this place consistently delivers and earns its reputation as a neighborhood favorite. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area personally I like it

For $17 & some change, I got 4 tacos & a canned soda.

Tacos i got were; lengua, cabeza, buche & tripas… they were all good, but i just prefer the buche & tripas they had some texture and a bit more flavor.

These tacos are pretty straight forward, its difficult to mess them up so, great they did good here, what makes tacos; is the salsa though, and this salsa roja here is just “ok”. Not the best salsa roja ive had, & thats what marks these tacos down 1 star…

Still i would return.

I like the location, the atmosphere is nice, and the employees are super sweet and helpful.

Ill be back for sure. ♡♡

I reluctantly walked down the street to this Mexican restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor which was warm and welcoming. I ordered Chile Verde quesadilla that was definitely pleasing to my taste buds. The gentleman that took my order was very hospitable. Extremely nice experience.

Great service, very easy to order/customize! Nice seating area. Beans and rice are vegan and they have some vegan meats too.
Wish the salsas were a bit more flavorful but overall great food!

Well, first time we went there we ordered enchiladas and taco salad, awesome. Went there Monday and had a carne asafa burrito and prawns al diabla which we both thought were disgusting, won’t waste my money there again.
