We enjoy this place, but it certainly has its flaws. Atmosphere and service are generally quite good, everyone has been nice and it’s generally not too crowded. The salsa bar is a cute addition, but I’m not partial to really any of the salsa on offer. I think that’s a personal opinion though, I often don’t really like the taco salsas at even the best taco spots.
Where I have mixed feelings are two spots: price and food.
Everything here is going to be more expensive than the average mexican restaurant. Even as most have gotten more expensive, these guys are a leader, like El Trompo. Quite expensive. Expect to spend $20-$30 per person on a single entree.
But we keep coming back because the food can be exceptional. Note I said “can be”. Some of the meat they serve is awesome, and feels like a lot of effort went in. Others, like the chicken they put on the tacos, feel phoned in and dry. I recommend their birria and chorizo, really well done and perhaps some of the best I’ve had. Others, like carnitas and steak are solid, but not standout.
Overall, this place is worth a try. Just hopefully you end up with something that impresses you. Safest bet by far is to get birria and chorizo street tacos.

The food was good. It came out pretty quickly. Note: the white cheese is under the rice on the plate. I thought they forgot it. Service was good. Restaurant was decorated nice.
Only negatives are the employee cleaning a nearby area with very strong cleaner smell (not good when eating) and the cost. Pricing is vert high.

We go about once a month for their burrito Verde and some rendition of birria. My recent favorite is the Birria Ramen! Its always delicious and their margaritas are fantastic. There are few spots in front of the restaurant but theres a huge lot behind that is always empty.

This is our first time here. The service was great, the manger walked around and checked on all the tables. The food was good and came out pretty quick, granted we got here at 1:30pm. They have a nice drink menu and I can see coming here with a group of friends eating, drinking and hanging out. I will definitely come back.

My wife ordered chicken mole enchiladas and 3 pastor tacos.
The size of portion for the mole seems to have been reduced, so less value.
There was no pineapple on the pastor tacos and the meat was dry/old- not fresh. Also had a burned flavor, likely from sitting so long.
The price for one chicken mole dinner and 3 tacos was $38. Not worth the price.
The food flavor and value used to be better at this location.

I frequent a few of the Mexican restaurants in the city and my first experience at this establishment was overall good. The food was decent and the chips were average. The soda was very good and better than most. The service was great.

This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service was alright but the food tasted bland and barely edible. For how terrible everything was, the prices were absolutely insane — I felt like I got ripped off the moment the bill came. I will never be coming back, and I’d warn anyone else to save their money and go literally anywhere else.
