My wife ordered two Asada and one chicken taco with onions and cilantro (no pictures). The chicken tasted like it was boiled and had been sitting in hot water. No spices or flavor. The Asada was the same way. Zero flavor or seasoning. The tacos were VERY dry. The prominent taste was the fresh onions on each.
I had the “Pambazos”. Billed as a special sandwich with potatoes, chorizo, lettuce, queso fresco, chicken and a boiled egg. The sandwich was 6″ or so in diameter. Mainly potatoes, cheese and lettuce. I did not taste any chorizo. 6-7 SMALL pieces of chicken.
We both had the Esquites which is a corn dish we were excited to order…..until it came out. Is made with canned corn for starters which was very disappointing. The toppings did not add anything. Even fresh lime and their salsa verde did not help any. The dish was just flat without much flavor.
We love supporting local food trucks but this was just an epic failure and will not be back.

Absolutely amazing. They have the best tamales & everything honestly was amazing. & the food and the prices are amazing. My husband and I go literally a dinner that could fill up 6 people with no problem at all for $22.. the workers are amazing and so kind. I recommend this over any other Mexican restaurant around shelby County…

Wow, what a find! Outstanding tacos, super moist and well seasoned. We’ve only had the pastor so far. Very good sauces, smoky salsa roja and classic salsa verde. Incredible homemade corn tortillas, I think the best I’ve had at a taco truck in the Shelby / Jefferson area. Only thing I might suggest would be having some salt a little more accessible for folks. Can’t wait to come back again.

The tacos I ordered from this truck are bomb! I highly recommend the beef, not so much the chicken though! The bebida drink was so daggum good it’d make a tadpole slap a whale! Not to mention, the lady at the window of the truck had such an infectious smile and a good positive attitude! Next time I’m in town, I’ll hunt this food truck down!

This tacco truck is authentic!! If you haven’t ever visited Texas or Mexico or lived in one or the other? And all you’ve ever experienced is Taco Bell in Alabama or at best you have been to a Mexican restaurant in Alabama then you are going to very disappointed!!!!!!
The food is great and authentic!
They are very clean and very orderly and you can find them in Montevallo Alabama!
If you have never had authentic Mexican tacos or any authentic Mexican food then I recommend going there completely!!!
