Car broke down in channelview, decided to stop here while waiting for roadside help. My tacos came out pretty quickly and were delicious! Additionally I felt the sizing was pretty generous for only 3$ each, and the couple seemed very nice. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Everytime I go to Channelview, I go by here for lunch. I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years now and it is only getting better. What a swell place to eat fresh authentic Mexican food, and fruit drinks.

I asked for “pork in sauce or pork stew” [puerco en salsa] and my daughter asked for quesadillas. when the man brought our food he brought me 3 small dry pieces of por rib with rice, bought pork was not stewed so I asked where is the sauce? so the man brings me a container with hot sauce LOL I was like are u kidding me? and my daughter’s quesadillas were like if he threw them in a pan of oil. no wonder this place is always empty or go check it out yourselves never one customer. i dont see how this place has all 5 stars maybe family members and friends trying to help his place look good. I am never going back there again

It’s like the food that your grandma makes,, I had costillas en salsa verde, and there where delicious, I have to ask for more frijoles because there where so good. The place it’s very small and the menu very reduced, but dam this is good food.

the short fat lady with glasses was so rude screaming at the old lady cook i asked 3 times if tortillas where home made she ignored me then she brought out a plate of tacos and i asked if those tortillas where hand made and she got a attitude and started yelling NOOO I ALREADY TOLD YOU NOOOO i said no you ddnt i asked you 3 times and you ddnt answer she scresmed loader NOOO THEYR NOT HAND MADE WHAT ELS DO YOU WANT TO KNOW so i told mt fiance lets go this lady must be on her month and told the lady she needed to learn how to treat customers and as we walked out she was still hollering.. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!
