This is genuinely one of the best places I’ve ever eaten. That’s a Legua Quesadilla in those photos yall and I’ve never had such big, tender pieces!! And that giant to go box full of loaded fries is only $13! Good prices, helpful staff, incredible food

Authentically delicious and fresh tacos at a fair price point. Simple, straight forward menu. Friendly staff who love their food! Filling portions and non-greasy tacos that don’t leave your hands reeking of a heavy, corn oil odor. Trompo de Pastor- vertical rotisserie for the pork. The Vampiro hits all the marks! Grilled tortilla sandwich packed with choice of meat, fillings and cheese that is crisp & lacy on the edges but gooey in the center. Assorted fresh hot sauce bar with limes & radishes. Served with a side of grilled onion & jalapeño. Indoor seating with attached exterior seating when the garage doors are open. Clean restaurant & restroom. We enjoyed All of our order: Pastor- pork, Cabeza- beef head, Lengua- tongue- taco & Vampiro.

This the real deal! lived in NM since 1979 and have traveled extensively and I know Mexico City food . It’s always a good sign when you walk in and see the local guys who do manual labor or are wearing safety vests from road construction crews eating there. I also talked to some university students. The food is excellent and a great value for your money. I went with the Pastor (pork). I suggest trying a taco of the meat of your choice. I did the taco, the quesadilla and the mul….. it was way too much food so I brought half of it home. I recommend the horchata aqua Fresca. The hibiscus was quite good too. The milkiness of the horchata was refreshing after you have had one if the spicier salsas from the salsa bar. You would expect the ambiance of a hoke-in- wall restaurant but this was nice.

This is the best taco place I’ve tried in ABQ, for sure makes me feel like I’m eating Tacos in Tijuana. Service 10/10. La Agua de Jamaica was sooo good. And they have good music and a salsa bar. This will be my go to place from now on!

This place is legit!! Walking up, it smelled amazing, and the food did not disappoint. My wife felt like she was in Tijuana again. Authentic street tacos and a quesadilla filled to the brim made for an excellent meal. Will definitely come back here again!

Loved this new Taco place! There are varieties of street Taco and a salsa bar. Everything was fresh, tasty and price was very reasonable. This is probably one of the best street Taco restaurant in Albuquerque in my opinion.

Talking about good food, if you looking for a good taco for a good price then taqueria El 1 It’s going to be the place you want to go. They take care of the tortillas, they don’t break easy, they are Tijuana style tacos but they do put meat on them. The flavors are amazing they are authentic they not feel greasy at all You can feel, you can taste how much love they have for their product. Salsas have their flavor and there are spicy All of them have the specific spiciness and they go well. I have to say if you don’t like onion and cilantro on your tacos let the know they come with everything on them so you might want to let them know if you don’t like cilantro and onions they will put everything on the side. I had the carne asada, Al pastor, cabeza like I said not greasy at all good flavor well seasoned.
