Super mid Mexican food. Paid $16 for a fajita taco, rice and beans, and a large soda. I’m not sure if it was the waitress not offering onions and peppers on my fajita taco — or at least cheese — but this is how it came. Who serves a fajita taco with just meat on it? Overall, I don’t see the value of the dishes for the prices. Might give it another shot in a few months, but first impressions weren’t great.

As much as I like to support local businesses, I want to make others aware of additional charges this restaurant adds to your bill without clearly disclosing them upfront.

I ordered a plate of beef taquitos, which comes with five small taquitos, priced at $13.50. When I pulled up to the window, I was told my total was $18.45. I questioned the price and was informed there was a $2.99 credit card fee, an additional $0.40 charge (which was never clearly explained), plus tax. None of these fees were mentioned before ordering.

Thankfully, I had cash, so the credit card charge was canceled and I paid $14.95 in cash; however, the $0.40 fee was still applied.

To add to the disappointment, when I got home, I realized I was given pork taquitos instead of beef.

Between the undisclosed fees and the incorrect order, this experience was frustrating. Transparency matters, especially when supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and will be sharing this experience with friends and neighbors so they are aware of the added charges.

Came here on a weekday to pickup some warm caldo on a cold day. Was happy to see this location open after being to their other Stone Oak location. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff at the register. They were very friendly and even offered a small courtesy drink while I waited for my take out order. It’s the small things with customer service that makes a big difference.

Ordered the Chicken Caldo, Asada Tacos, and Flautas Plate. I was able to see them make everything fresh and it was ready in about 10 minutes. It was packed up nicely and securely. Food was delicious, good sized portions, and Caldo was full of ingredients.

Good neighborhood restaurant serving good food with great customer service.

Picked up some tacos through the drive thru. This place did not disappoint, wow! Tacos were stuffed, flavorful and not overly greasy (just the right amount of grease). Friendly staff, they actually get your order right with plenty of salsas. Tortillas were fluffy and delicious. I’ll be back!

The food i ordered was tasteless rice and beans there was some whiteyellow creme sauce on the enchiladas I ordered. Did not taste good I rate it a one. Will not be going back and I live a block away. Better get their food quality in check or this location won’t make it. Take heed whoever owns this location get your customers feedback.

I love this location of Taqueria Datapoint on Overlook. The food is always on point—fresh, hot, and super flavorful—and the service is spectacular: friendly, fast, and welcoming. Plus, the prices are unbeatable, so it’s easy to make this a regular stop. Consistently excellent across the board.

I ordered the Carne Guisada plate , Cheese Enchilada plate & two tacos de Tripas . I have to be completely honest so my review don’t mislead the next one headed this way… I was disappointed with the flavors I experienced .Absolutely no spices to entertain these palates. Unless you like cheese ravioli sauce as your Mexican recipe for authentic flavor! lol Not even a knife to cut the bland almost anemic cheese enchiladas. The spice needs a kick and the prices need to be kicked down. I’ll include pics if I’m able to upload.

Why did I wait so long to try this place? Three breakfast tacos for $5.99. Great tortillas, fully stuffed with potato and egg, and delicious salsa. Can’t wait to try their other offerings!
