Interesting (& slightly confusing) mix of menu where you can choose between Mexican or Japenese dishes.
However the street tacos were great & the meat was juicy. My husband enjoyed his burrito and we got the sesame chicken bowl for our son. I was not a fan of the tempura.
My only complaint was that I was interested in knowing the history behind the menu and why they chose Mexican/Japanese. Our host and waiter seemed to know little about the menu, drinks, or the history…which made our 1st experience slightly less impressive.
Also, they only serve beer. No cocktails, margaritas, ect.
Seating can also be confusing as you can order at the window when you walk in, or have a seat and the server will get to you. But this was not clarified or explained by the server/host, and after walking around for a minute looking lost, he told us to take a seat.
The restaurant itself was spacious, clean, and had a nice outdoor area.

This place was fantastic! I got the Yakisoba tofu noodles, which was delicious. I enjoyed the sauce. Ginger salad was great and the dressing was yummy. This was a great stop on our way down to New Mexico.

The food is delicious!! I got a torta and my husband ordered the shrimp tempura. The waitress was so sweet and helpful, and the owner stopped by our table to ensure everything was good! I 110 percent recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Delicious! They have Japanese, Mexican and American. We had the chicken katsu bowl and the tempura shrimp bowl – so many great flavors. The owner/chef is very talented and our waitress was welcoming and kind. Highly recommend.

Great food, cute restaurant, decent amount of seating. I had carne asada street tacos. They were delicious! My husband had the chicken street tacos. He said they were very good! We also had a side of cups and salsa. There was nothing left on our plates! Definitely check this place out!

Old review: Wish they had a kids menu. My son wanted plain nachos, chips and cheese only, and I still got charged the full amount of $15. The nachos typically include meat, rice and beans, pico de gallo, etc, which I can understand ends up being $15. The food is great tho.

Unassuming, counter order restaurant. Surprising that it also serves Japanese food. My husband really liked his ramen. My burrito bowl was good. Has a busy take-out business. They were advertising for a part-time cashier, who they must really need because one person seemed to handle everything.
