Don’t let the unassuming gas station exterior fool you—this place is a hidden gem. I’ll admit, when I first walked in I hesitated, wondering if this could really be where the good food was. But then I saw the line at the order window, and I knew I might have just hit the jackpot.
The cashier was warm and personable, like chatting with family, and the kitchen staff greeted me with constant “hellos” and “how are yous.” That kind of welcome sets the tone before you even take a bite.
The kids loved the bean and cheese tacos—one even said they were better than the ones in San Antonio. My personal favorite was the bean and cheese with bacon and egg—absolutely delicious, especially on their homemade tortillas (the real star of the show, though I wish they were a bit bigger).
My wife raved about the chicharrón tacos, saying they had the perfect crisp and just the right amount of spice. The barbacoa tacos were seasoned beautifully—the only thing missing was an ice-cold Big Red (totally my fault for not grabbing one).
I originally stopped in on a whim with just my wife, but the food was so good that I went back the very next morning to grab breakfast tacos for the kids before school—there was no way they were missing out.

I am a veggie burrito lover and by far, this was the BEST tasting veggie burrito I have ever tasted! I highly recommend before you waste your time and money in any other restaurant that offers these menu items, give these folks the opportunity to earn your business!
