The store has quite a bit of items available. It is a small hometown store. As you enter the store there is a certain foul smell. We learned it was due to the fresh cut meat. The store seams pretty crowded and not very cleanly. We came for some atole maiza and were looking for some other spices.

I was not aware there was also a restaurant next to the store.

Me, my husband, and four year old came here for a spur of the moment lunch to try something new. He got a chicken torta and I had the pork torta. They were both absolutely delicious. The cashier was super nice, we waited about 6 minutes for our food. My picky child liked the chicken on the torta a lot too. Would definitely recommend if you want a casual Mexican dining experience that is truly authentic.

I’ve been there twice and both times were great. First time i got a tripas burrito and it was exactly want I needed in my life. Second time I took my wife and we got chicken tacos for her and carnita and tripa tacos for me. One bite and my wife said “This is our place!”

Two young girls working in the back. Served us cold rice and beans. No napkins on the tables every table was empty. We were the only customers in the restaurant. Place used to be a nice place to eat. But past 2 times we came in we were told that they can’t make what we ordered. Will not be going back.

They were trying to charged me $10.30 only for a cheese quesadilla (no meat) and a small horchata water, the quesadilla was awful (I’m mexican so of course I know how a quesadilla is supposed to be and that was the worst in my life) I didn’t even eat the rest after one bite.

Trataron de cobrarme $10.30 por un agua de horchata chica y una quesadilla con queso y frijoles . La quesadilla no estaba para nada buena.

As someone who does know Mexican food well…this place is super. Authentic, not greasy, delicious food. The lengua taco, tripe taco, barbacoa taco, and the chile relleno taco were great as were the red and green salsas. Yum! I don’t know Mexican food very well, but it seemed pretty authentic.Went here to purchase goat meat for a friend 5lbs $28 quantity staff were helpful with what I wanted & friendly will be going back they also sell other items like haircare beauty products as well as meds. At reasonable prices. It was delicious!

The grocery store portion has always (as in the past 15 years) appeared somewhat unclean, but today it was just outright nasty. Rotten, fly infested fruit, unidentifiable wet substances on nonfood items, and an overal dingy ambiance reminded me why I stopped going there in the first place

We are from California and were told this food was close to the Mexican Food there. I really feel angry! I spent $22 for some food that was so horrible it would be a stretch to call it Mexican or any type of food related to a specific culture’s food. First of all their “asada” isn’t! I tasted like roast or some other dried meat. Their “shredded” chicken wasn’t shredded! It was little tiny chunks of chicken NOTHING about the flavor said MEXICAN. Disappointed is nothing close to how I feel …….
