Tacos were delicious and flavorful, they offer a variety of different flavor tacos which I enjoyed as someone who likes to try a bit of everything. The chips and guacamole were good as a starter. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely be making this place my go to taco spot.

Although not authentic authentic Mexican food like you would get from a taco truck, their twist on Mexican food is unique and doesn’t sacrifice any flavor in trying to be so like other restaurants that claim to be a taqueria in this region of the borough. The service never misses and is always A1. The manager always greets us if he’s not busy and if he has time he’ll check on us to see if our food or drinks are fine. The servers are very well trained as well and show the highest level of attentiveness and care. My only criticism is their food options are somewhat limited and I wish some of their specials would be on the menu all week.

I pride myself on not being a restaurant repeater. I had to make an exception for TAQ. I’ve been here 5 times in the past week. It is really THAT good. First off, an incredible selection of tacos, especially vegetarian ones. I also love that you can mix and match. Every taco is a hit. Personal favorites are the Coreano, the Frito (try it in a lettuce wrap), and the Berenjena. The dessert is a must-have, both the tres leches and the Mexican brownie. Also, service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. The ambiance and music is great, and the outdoor seating is great people watching. Lastly, the prices are phenomenal. The happy hour deal is ridiculous. This place is going to be THE SPOT for summer. Can’t wait to be back for more!

Nice tacos , vegetarian options were good, service was fast . I tried black beans and falafel. Liked the latter more . Chips were fresh but bit on salty side.

The staff and atmosphere were very pleasant. The menu was straightforward. I enjoyed a non-alcoholic beverage, nachos, and some tacos. I wished the tacos had been crispier. The nachos were good, but I expected more from the tacos. However, the staff and waitress were very kind.

Amazing Gourmet Tacos… and a Saturday Happy Hour!? Chef’s kiss. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. 20+ optional taco topping choices with good portions and $3 corona. Enough said. So good. Definitely found my go to taco fix. Thank you management, please don’t change a thing. Ever 🙂

This place truly is a hidden gem and has great options for everyone, along with reasonable pricing.
Their classic margarita is delicious (they have a lot of different flavors as well). To begin, the Esquites are a must (love how they make them here, it’s more like a corn dip!) and the Nachos are also solid (although I wish they used a queso rather than just melted cheese).
There are so many vegetarian options for tacos – my favorites were the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Falafel. The Eggplant was also solid, but could have used a bit more sauce.
They also make a really good tres leches cake!
Service is quick, and the vibes are casual. I can’t wait to come back again!

Great place for quick tacos, though I will say I was surprised that it was table service. The vibes seemed better suited to counter service. Regardless, highly suggest the eggplant and black bean tacos—they will surprise you! And tres leches cake!

The concept is tacos! Sweet tacos. Savory tacos. Vegetarian tacos. Meat tacos. Seafood tacos. Brunch tacos. Lunch and dinner tacos. You get the point.
I’m not sure if it’s advertised, but I heard that if you buy three tacos, the third one is free. I asked about this and the waiter said that you buy three you get five dollars off the third taco. Majority of the tacos are price at 7$.
I ended up getting the hamburger taco, the shrimp taco, the Korean chicken taco.
The hamburger taco is apparently only available on the weekends as a special. This was the best one of the three.
The shrimp taco fell apart, which was disappointing. The shrimp were small, and the sauce was not memorable.
The Korean chicken taco I thought would have crispy chicken, but it was grilled chicken. The chicken was good and it was a decent taco.
