Walked in tonight – Friday – just before 7. Took my family of 4 in to try a new place for dinner, Sat in the section away from the bar. It was open.
We were completely ignored. No acknowledgement when we walked in. None while seated for 20 mins. And none when we walked right by both bartenders on our way out.
I don’t have high standards for service. But I’m not spending my $120 dinner ticket somewhere I’m actually noticed, much less served a beer or pizza.
Enjoy your regulars. When the bar fails, they’ll find a new place.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never been here in my life. Tonight I decided to go with a friend. Not only was I disrespected for being Latino, as well as my friends, I was told I don’t tip. The bartender was also drunk out of his mind. Keep in mind I have never been here in my life. I run my own business and I always tip well over average. The words that were used towards my friends and myself I don’t think I would ever repeat. It’s really upsetting to go to a place to have a drink and wind down after a long day and get treated horribly. I will never go here ever again.

I live three blocks away and I did karaoke for 8 years 6 nights a week I have been to every bar and pub in Polk county I promise. The staff at tapz pub are in an entirely different class. I started going to taps about a year and a half ago and from the first night I realized this was something different. The second time I went in the bartender knew my name what I drink and ask me about something I mentioned on my first visit. Never in my life out of hundreds of bars of doing karaoke at hundreds of places within six states have I ever been treated this way. I have met and interacted with a total of five different bartenders at this place. Literally seriously I have been to every place that offers karaoke in Polk county in the last 15 years and for the first time not offering karaoke I have built absolutely at home at a bar near me. As usual with attending a bar numerous occasions you will run into a drunk idiot or a rude person and no matter what. Shown absolute respect no matter what the situation and did what was best for all patrons at that time. Eric you are awesome.I have had three conversations with you and you have mentioned previously you have been doing this for 10 to 15 years being a bartender and it shows. The professionalism is off the church and I say this with myself visiting over 100 local bars within Polk county. Dude you are a rockstar all the patrons love you, your attitude, and your promptness to treat everyone with respect first come first serve this person ahead of this person etcetera. You’re a rockstar

Our boss took us here after work to relax and have some drinks. We had never been here before. The bartender was so rude to us. He did not give us halo the drinks that we ordered because he went to go talk to other customers he had at the bar. After we complained because of all the rude comments from the bartender we walked out of the bar and were told to go back to mexico. I will never be coming back.
