What a great place! The food and drinks are delicious and the staff are the nicest people on the island. Amazing mahi mahi dinner, cooked perfectly. This should be on everyone’s list of places to visit. A true gem!

I don’t know why it took me so long, but on last days in Kapaa we stopped at Taps and Hops – what a surprise. Everybody was friendly, laid back, smart – committed to the restaurant and the customer experience.
We had sliders (beef and fish), both excellent – recommend the beef if you’ve been subsisting on island fish tacos for the week – Korean ribs messy and good, but the winner was Mandoo (pot stickers)! Excellent place to eat, have a drink, watch the game, and listen to good tunes. Will be our first stop next year – thanks for the Kapaa authentico hospitality Josh!

Food is amazing and also the lady that served us.
But the management/owner needs to really step things up. How do they think it’s OK to have one person waiting on all tables? They have another gentleman serving but from what it seemed left everything to the lady to do. She was amazing and trying her hardest but I had to ask to order more food, ask for extra napkins, never even got water refilled.
Chefs did a spot on job with the food. I rarely order more but I knew I would regret not ordering more. Shame its let down by the service.
Owners seem to have an amazing team. Just add a few more floor staff in and this place would be a cut above the rest especially with the type of guests looking for service!

The drinks were unique but could’ve been better. We had high hopes for the kimchi burger but don’t get what the big deal was. Some kimchi aoili would really improve it. The ribs were alright. I would not go out of my way to eat here again. But, it is dog-friendly for those with pups.

Really disappointing. Forgot to key in one of our orders, so it didn’t arrive until everyone else finished their food. They were stingy with the sweetner for the tea, too. Literally only brought out one (1) packet of Splenda. The burger was pretty dry and just didn’t taste that great.

We stopped in during happy hour and were very pleased with the facility, food and service. We tried the soy garlic wings, Parmesan wings, beef sliders and garlic edamame with some yummy brown ale. All great!

It was overall a great experience here as we were visiting this area until we had to catch our flight back home. The only thing that makes it difficult especially when eating is because it is open access to the restaurant there are flies around you all the time when eating.
