I came in here yesterday for the first time. Was in and out of this bar from the moment they opened until we were leaving. I will mention not a single time did someone offer us a stamp on our hand to show we were 21 until we were being kicked out. Everyone one of the bartenders were great, especially Blake he deserves 6 stars alone. Unfortunately the reason I’m giving 2 stars is because my friend and I were asked to leave after the “door man” Anthony came up to me sitting at the bar to check my ID. This was our 3rd time in the bar and he was never there to check our ID, it was always someone else. He was so rude saying “I don’t even know how you guys are in here right now” , pretty aggressively whipped out his black light to make sure my passport wasn’t fake, then told us to close our tab and leave after we both showed him our valid IDS. I mentioned our tab was already closed and we would be leaving after this. We were never given a valid reason we were being kicked out, never caused a problem or bothered anyone, even made friends with the bartenders. Anthony alone ruined my first experience up at Schweitzer.

We had a delightful time at Taps Schweitzer. We were treated like royalty by Abbie and Dave. They went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. They were very professional and friendly. I would recommend visiting Taps if you’re in Schweitzer ski resort.

Excellent, friendly service! Our group of 30+ people had a pizza party at Taps and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive and more friendly. The salad and pizza were delicious! Thank you Abbey and David for a fun night!!
