This is NOT the tapioca you’re thinking of… my disappointment when wanting something like tapioca pudding etc. food & drinks looked good. Staff wasn’t the friendliest or helpful. We ended up leaving.

Thai Tea – on the menu it has Boba in the drink, but I didn’t get any in the drink . Was told I needed to pay extra for them( don’t include boba balls in the picture if it’s not going to include them ) You’re misleading customers thinking they’re going to get Boba’s because it’s in the picture
-pasta ( noodles were not cooked all the way they were tough) for $22. This is how much noodles you get! Not that much
-I got a Boba that was supposed to have the brown suger syrup (it didn’t) was expecting the drink to be sweet since I asked for 50% sweetness, and it was really watery
– fries ( forgot to take picture) but it comes in a box cup that was half full . Other Boba places have fries and they give you a good serving. This place was just stingy in general.

Friendly reminder that boba adds extra sugar!! Perhaps I’ll need to adjust my sugar levels for my Earl Gray milk tea next time I come back to order a drink again. Loved it overall.

If you’re in San Jose and craving bubble tea, Tapioca Express on Curtner Ave is a solid choice. The shop offers a wide range of drinks, including classic milk teas and fruity flavors. I tried their taro milk tea with tapioca pearls, and it was delicious – the drink was creamy and perfectly sweetened. The staff was friendly and made my drink quickly, which I really appreciated. They also have some tasty snacks, like popcorn chicken, that pair really well with the drinks. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the seating area is a little small, but overall it’s a great spot for bubble tea.

My friend treated me to a large strawberry and mango mixed with sour gummies. I was please and thankful so happy we went here for the treat. My friend shared her fries with me which were pretty tasty. Customer service was great and the spacing was good to maneuver both our wheelchairs!
