What a pleasant lunch experience! The wait staff is very attentive, and the food was amazing! I had the rosemary fries with the taphouse burger, and my daughter had the sweet potato fries with her taphouse burger. Everything was cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were nice and large, and the food was visually appealing when served to us. The drinks were just as visually appealing and delicious also! The portion sizes, quality of food, and fun atmosphere, was a perfect match for the price of our lunch. They offer a wide range of craft beer and cocktails ,with a vegan and vegetarian menu alongside a full sandwich menu. The outside dining area was a nice addition, and the inside area offers a host of televisions to watch different sports. We will definitely be back, and i recommend you give them a try! I liked that there is a sit down bar area for patrons that aren’t looking for a meal- and just want a tasty drink while watching a favorite sport on one of the many televisions.

We started with the buffalo chicken dip. EXCELLENT! I highly recommend.
I ordered the fish tacos. The fish was cooked well, slaw and salsa were good, but the crema was rather mediocre. If it had had more flavor, I’d have requested more of it.
My husband ordered the chicken tacos, which he enjoyed but agreed about the lackluster crema.
The service was fantastic, as was the Baked Apple Pie cider they had on tap.

The Tap House was such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The Itacate tacos—were absolutely amazing. The baked apple cider was a perfect touch for a cozy drink, and the sweet potato fries are to die for! Everything from the food to the vibe made for a great night out. Highly recommend!

Food is delicious and there’s many choices to choose from for elevated bar snacks. Portions are hefty and it’s a good idea to come prepared with an eating partner to maximize your options.
Service at this location is phenomenal. We normally sit at the bar so special shout out to Liz, Madison, and Rachel. We were sat with Caitlin tonight and she was fabulous and offered top-notch service.
Also have to give big thanks to Taphouse Star for having a heated and enclosed patio. It’s so appreciated when you have dogs that you like bringing with even in winter months when there’s fewer options.

2nd time here since the opening and it is packed on a Saturday night. Great vibes, awesome beer, beverage, and food menu selections. Over 10 TVs fill the room. Tonight we had grilled fish and grilled chicken tacos. They are the best I’ve had in Idaho so far(we just moved from San Diego a few months ago). Lea our server was so kind and attentive to us and kept our drinks flowing. Thank you Lea! I will be craving this place again soon. So blessed to have it in Star!

My daughter and I visited after church and loved it! The house salad with ranch was delicious and I got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which was so good – the photo doesn’t do it justice. Highly recommend!

I can’t believe I never tried this place before but my husband has with his friends recently and insisted that I go. We went around 4pm with our 8 year old son and it’s great for kids too. The food came quickly and was delicious. Our servers were wonderful.

Food was at the same level as Costco frozen foods. Great beer selection though… Tables are packed together for max profit, expect to suck it in and turn sideways if you are not skinny. Floors were grease slick, table and silverware was dirty upon arrival. I know Star doesn’t have allot of options, but if you give this place your money you are only promoting business models that are only focused on profit and not quality. All the people giving this place 5 stars have likely not left Star in their lives.

Second time there but the first time eating food from the menu. The bacon blue cheese burger was very tasty and juicy like a good hamburger should be. The chips and salsa appetizer was a generous portion.
