I was craving some “Lalo” and I went there, OMG!! The food was delicious, well presented and good portions. Best food in town. Now every time I’m in Linden, NJ Tap Tap is my go to place for serving the most tasty and satisfying Haitian food.

Was craving a pate kode and was happy to find that they made them. It was a good size for the price. I rated it 4 stars because I would’ve liked it to be filled with a better mix of meat and veggies. Would definitely purchase again.

The food was excellent and that is why they are getting a 5 star review. Although my first impression wasn’t great because the floor was very strangely sticky like they haven’t cleaned it in a while and the lights in the restaurant was flickering very badly to the point I was getting a headache but even with all of those ambience issues I’m still giving it 5 stars because the food was absolutely delicious! It is a great take out restaurant, but I wouldn’t recommend sitting in. I definitely would order from here again.

I love Haitian food and was excited that there was now one nearby. I was not eating meat or fish today so I was happy to try their vegetable legume. I called in my order and ordered the vegetable legume. When I arrived about 12 minutes later I got a call and a hang up. I walked in and the man asked my name. I told him and he said he tried to call me. It was right as I arrived with a hang up that I received. He then told me they had no vegetable legume and only lalo which is another vegetable dish ‍♀️. I wish I would of known that before I came. I asked him questions and trusted his judgment and got it. It was about $13. When I arrived home I dug in and noticed right away there was crab shells, I am guessing for seasoning. I wanted a vegetarian dish and this shouldn’t have had crab. Luckily there was no chunks inside. The lalo was ok, definitely no legume. One good thing was it was soooo filling. All in all I had an ok experience.

The food was delicious and presented very well. Tap Tap Restaurant is a great place to order from if you are doing a large event or private gathering at home. All my guests were happy and all asked about where the food came from.

Today I tasted the best best rice ever, I love everything but the rice and the Tasso Kabrit was the boom. We can finally say we have a good Haitian spot in the Li den and Elizabeth area. And the decor make you feel home, my only complaint is they don’t have no homemade juice.

Hire a good Chef or go to school to open a restaurant. Please, stop open up restaurants routinely like you are cooking in your home and you can cook for your own family. But, it doesn’t mean that you can cook for a community. “Poisson Gros De Sel” 35 bucks as the lowest price for it and it was not worth the price. A bit of smell, acras were very dry and plantains had no tasted. I commented on the Acra, the waitress disagree on my comments and I couldn’t believed her. They should reach to KACHÉ or MELI MELO as a matter fact, FIRST REPUBLIC and ask them how do put up a decent restaurant. Then, they will assist to be better. Overall, it was a waste of money. I didn’t enjoy at all and dress professional to serve people in a restaurant…

Worst Fritay meal. Everything is burnt and over fried. How can you even sell someone something like that. Akra burnt, marinade is hard inside, plantains Burnt as well. I am very disappointed.

I ordered fried turkey and rice and beans from them. The rice smelled sour as if it were days old I asked for at least a 50% refund since the turkey was good but the rice wasn’t good they declined to give me a refund or to replace the rice. Customer service is trash. The owner is rude. And I won’t be back.
