WOW! The short rib ravioli (pictured) is AMAZING! The gravy was incredible and the ravioli was perfectly cooked and the short rib inside was incredibly moist and also perfect. The staff was amazingly attentive and made sure the experience was one you want to come back for. 100/10. Don’t pass this place by, you’ll be missing out.

We held a Welcome Party the night before my Son’s wedding. The event was planned for 40 people and held in the private room upstairs. Every step in the process was easy. Amberly was very responsive. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere perfect for all the out of town guests to meet each other. Walter, the bartender, took excellent care of us all. If you are planning a special event, do not hesitate to trust The Tap Room. It was the perfect kickoff to an amazing weekend. Thank you to all involved in our special night!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We had a large group. Our lacrosse team from Team Illinois wanted a place for a team dinner and they made us feel very welcome. We worked with Amberly Comeau on headcount. Amberly was incredible and took care of everything to make our experience easy. The bar staff was slammed and Brie was our bartender. The entire staff handled our group with patience and grace. I can not tell you how great our night was. We will be back! Thank you Tap Room Farmingdale.

We went in on Thursday 12/18/25 and our server Walter was phenomenal! He made us feel very welcomed as he was very sweet and attentive, despite having a full section. He had an upbeat attitude and even gave us great sauce recommendations for the 20/$20 wing special! If you go there, ask for him he will go above and beyond to make your experience as enjoyable as possible!

Ive been to a few of the Tap Rooms across LI and like them all. Solid bar food and great bar options. In the most recent Occassion in this Farmingdale my wife and our two friends had a really great night out. We enjoyed great drinks and the array of great appetizers while playing a hosted trivia game along with other tables. Great time!

I asked the hostess if they had any gluten free. She said yes and pulled out a sticky, dirty menu and proceeded to point out the options. I tried, but I was grossed out. I said, i’m sorry but this menu is really dirty. She didn’t say or do a thing. We sat in front by the windows. As soon as we sat, she went back to the hostess stand and went on her phone. Another hostess helped us with a menu question and i told her the menus are dirty. She went back to the hostess stand and went on her phone. I ordered buffalo chicken nachos. (Not the bbq option). The waiter was very nice. There was a huge party upstairs and a woman started shouting at her guests, very very loudly, to make announcements. Almost an hour til our food came out. I saw bbq sauce. Waited for waiter. No sign of him. Waited. Got up and brought my dish to the kitchen door, thinking my waiter would come out. A girl walking in asked if i needed help. I said yes. Stood there for more minutes. A woman (pretty sure manager) came out and when i asked her if those were bbq nachos, she said yes. I told her that i ordered buffalo chicken nachos. She said ok, i will have them make you a new one right away! 20 minutes later….. the right dish came out, no side sauces. We were in that restaurant for almost 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon for a salad & and appetizer. Clearly they need better training.

The food was delicious, everything from the appetizers to the main dishes was spot on. Drinks were well-made with a great selection to choose from. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the service was impressively fast. Definitely a go-to spot for good food and drinks. Highly recommend!

The food was greasy. My sliders on the bottom had all oil all over it and were soggy, so was the nachos. The service was slow to subpar. At best the waitress had no clue. I asked for extra napkins, and she brought me a whole napkin holder, we had one on the table, then she brought a stack of napkins. Ridiculous. I asked to clean away the appetizers that was sitting there for 20 minutes empty. After we waited 40 minutes for them to come. Then she forgot the wings and said, I already deducted them from the bill without even telling us that they forgot them. I will never go back and the place was full of underage kids. Wait till you lose your liquor license , you’ll see

Listen … there’s a reason why the appetizer pictures are so clear but the others aren’t . This is by far one of the top favs for bottomless brunch , $22 for 2 hours unlimited mimosas doesn’t include the flavored mimosas and it’s only available from 11AM-2PM and if you come at 1PM it still ends at 2 but it’s definitely worth it. I love the wings and the mussels and the truffle fries and slidders were also good. Don’t take my word for the slidders and fries tho, because those were 7 glasses in ♀️Everything came to $100 so it’s not expensive, granted we only got mainly finger foods. I’ve been there twice now, there will be a third.

Highly recommend checking out this place if in the area. As a UK visitor I headed into town with work colleagues who are local and suggested this bar and it did not disappoint. Bar is a very classic US place with a long bar serving everything you could wish for and lots of seating both on the ground floor and upstairs. All with views of an array of TVs screening news and sports. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Gyro which was amazing. A great place to relax and unwind.
