Came here for a girls’ brunch and none of us knew what we wanted. Vibes? Yes. A plan? Absolutely not. Thankfully, Rashel swooped in like the brunch fairy godmother we didn’t know we needed.
She gave us recommendations so good we were this close to ordering the entire menu. And the best part? It never felt like a sales pitch, you could tell she genuinely loved the dishes. She went above and beyond and absolutely deserves all the credit.

I had an outstanding experience at Top 42 in Kendall! From the moment we arrived, the service was incredible. Our server, Nicole, was attentive, kind, and took immediate action when my filet mignon steak sandwich didn’t meet expectations. After I mentioned it, she quickly checked with the kitchen and the manager, who came over right away. They re-prepared the dish, and it was absolutely phenomenal—full of flavor, cooked to perfection. I was blown away by their commitment to making things right and ensuring we had a fantastic evening. I can’t recommend Top 42 enough—especially Nicole and their amazing hospitality

Came for brunch, stayed for the vibes. Prices were decent and the music delivered a party brunch, which Kendall definitely needs. Drinks were hit or miss; the peachy lychee was delicious, but the Bloody Mary had to be returned. Service was very slow, and while the food was good, it wasn’t anything to write home about. One downside was the lack of rain coverage, they need to invest in some sort of cover. We had to move our table against the wall to avoid getting soaked. Even after moving the table you can see the rain still reached our table. Overall, a fun vibe with room for improvement.

Changing my review to four stars from two. I went in today and had an amazing steak sandwich and had amazing service from Jose. I really enjoyed the wagyu noodle bowl and the tres leches was delicious, but for $19 USD, the amount of spinach dip I received is borderline unacceptable.

A huge thank you to the incredible manager Gaby and her entire team—they were amazing! They went out of their way to make the night special, with thoughtful touches, attentive service, and genuine warmth that turned a great evening into something truly memorable. Everyone on staff was friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do.
If you’re in the Kendall area looking for a spot to celebrate or just enjoy a fantastic meal with craft beers and modern gastropub fare, Tap 42 is the place. Highly recommend—especially ask for Gaby’s team if you want that extra level of care shout out to Jazmin( our waitress) she handled the party like a boss !

I have been hearing about this place and I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner. First off, Rochelle, the waitress was outstanding! Knowledgeable and friendly. We had the Philly egg rolls for appetizer. They had a perfectly cooked wrap with tender and well seasoned sirloin. I had the chicken and waffles for an entree. The waffles were slightly crispy but the chicken was moist. It came with sweet potato fries which I felt weren’t needed. However, they did come with a cinnamon cream dipping sauce, which gave a savory touch. I had the strawberry tres leche for dessert. It was light and refreshing..not overly sweet. 10s across the board! Serving sizes were massive as well. Will definitely come back!

Then, I enjoyed their chicken bowl, which came with black beans, guacamole, rice, and tomatoes—it was exquisite.
The service was 10 Stars, if you ever visit the restaurant don’t forget to ask for Jose top notch service.
