First time stopping in to Tap 42 and I’m very happy that I did! Jade was a fantastic bartender and suggested the old fashioned when asked what’s a popular drink. She made one of the best drinks I’ve had in Fort Myers. For lunch I had the Buffalo Chicken Tender Wrap and that was delicious and filling. The vibes were great and everyone was friendly. I will be back soon! Food was great and Jade was top notch!

Food : from the many choices, I settled for the smash burger with truffle fries. Honestly for $22.45 what a disappointment .

My wife had the Krispy chicken tendermelt with fries . Now she got the better of the deal for $19.50! Very large portions; we could have settled on just that. We took half, which she couldn’t eat. Now that sandwich was delicious . #Wife #Chicken #Fries #Deal #Portions #Sandwich

My wife and I wanted to try this place and finally had the chance to come for lunch today. I had the 42 Smash Burger, and she had the chicken bowl. The food was good, and the décor was nice. We sat outside, and the seating was amazing. Our waiter (Saunty) and our waitress (Aubryn) were friendly and welcoming. They offered help with the menu and suggested a few items. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and will definitely be back to check out the upstairs part of the restaurant!

We had a great time at this new location! Atmosphere was the perfect night vibe – cozy and inviting. Food profiles were on point & Sam was such a good server! The zen salmon bowl is my new favorite. My boyfriend got the NY strip with the truffle Mac which was amazing!! Omg! Chicken lettuce wraps to start was the perfect choice as well. Great cocktail selection as well as craft beers! Definitely will be back, thank you!

Chris K at the bar was great! He was super attentive and provided recommendations when we had questions on the menu. My only issue was that food took forever to arrive, but that was no fault of our server/bartender. Food here was delicious and I’d love to try additional items on the menu. I got the truffle Mac and short rib sliders which were both great options since I wasn’t too hungry. I wanted to note that the slider isn’t just short rib, it’s a normal slider with the short rib on top. Might try one of the full entrees if I go back.

Atmosphere was nice. Sat near the bar with several TV’s. Restaurant is very dimly lit which isn’t a bad thing. The calamari appetizer was delicious. The Salmon Zen bowl was underwhelming and bland. Service was pretty good. Marcela was very attentive. Good overall experience.

From the moment we walked in, the service was very attentive and friendly, always paying attention to every detail without being intrusive. The food was spectacular: each dish had an authentic flavor, beautifully presented, and with generous portions. After having gotten outstanding food on several occasions, we were excited to bring our family from out of town to check it out. A reservation was made for 13. We were sat at 2 different tables, which is not a huge deal but it would have been nice if that had been mentioned when the reservation was made. As soon as we walked in the door, we were hit with a strong urine odor around the hostess area. It never got better after that. Appetizers were ordered, one table got theirs significantly faster than the other. We were seated for over an hour before we got to order our entrees, and it was another 47 minutes after that before the food came out (for all but one of us who had to wait another 10 minutes for their food). When the food did finally come out, almost everyone’s meals were barely lukewarm. I wasn’t going to write this review until I went to eat some of the leftovers and discovered the chicken was not cooked. Incredibly disappointed.
