Tannery Run is an interesting place to look at. There are murals on the walls, a trellis above the bar, and an overall tree and vague fantasy theme – it’s a …

Amazing venue! Tim who runs the place is amazing. I hold a low key event in Ambler once a month and we have our “after lunch” here and they are always top notch!

The food is great, and the service is beyond outstanding!! Seriously one of the best places for customer service and great food you’ll find any where in Montgomery County.

I recently had a large scale costume event down the street, and arrange to have 50-60 of my guests come here afterwards for an after party. Tim was gracious to provide us a well priced buffet, kept the kitchen open later for us, and provided us with a great experience. You’ll often find him pouring drinks, running food to the tables and doing a little bit of everything here, while still making time to chat with his patrons.

5 stars! I’d give 10 if I could! Will absolutely be back.

This was my first time visiting. I was immediately charmed by the welcoming Ambler town and the charm extended upon entering Tannery Run. There was quite a bustle of patrons as I greeted some friends at the bar. I was compelled to visit by their decent variety of NA beers and was convinced I would be returning by the very pleasant staff. Engaging, helpful and frankly just happy. You don’t see that too often these days, so I appreciate and enjoy myself more when there is an inviting and positive vibe. I had one of each of their NA offerings and ordered a Reuben, Banana Pudding and Cheesecake to take home and split with the misses. Might be one of the best Reuben sandwiches I have had. Quality meat, superb sauerkraut and not overly buttered and sauced to point other sandwiches might get sloppy. I opted for the chips in lieu of a waffle fry add-on and loved them. Home made chips made perfect, albeit maybe slightly over salted. The desserts were served in smaller mason jars and were perfectly delicious. To top it all off, the prices were reasonable. I had a great time catching up with some friends and look forward to coming back sometime.

My family and I have dined here a number of times, and the food is always great. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been very good, but my favorite is the birria quesadillas. Beer and mixed drinks are good as well. Yes, service can be slow at times when they are busy, but that’s the same everywhere. I highly recommend trying it out if you’re in the area.

an absolute gem and easily a five star experience from start to finish. the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded in a warm, inviting atmosphere with rustic charm and a relaxed, neighborhood vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Their selection of beers is outstanding, offering something for everyone. The food is just as impressive, with a thoughtfully crafted menu it’s a step up of brewery food, featuring flavorful flatbreads, sandwiches, and hearty salads, soups and delicious apps that pair perfectly with the beer. On top of that, the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do, always happy to offer recommendations or answer questions without ever making you feel rushed. Whether you’re grabbing a casual drink with friends, enjoying a date night, or just looking for a cozy place to unwind, Tannery Run delivers every time it’s the kind of place you find yourself wanting to come back to again and again. love the fries there too and the mason jar desserts are to die for

Visiting the Fort Washington area and found this place via Google maps.
Stopped in only for drinks and I was amazed with the atmosphere.
My favorite beer is the moonless midnight followed by the terrestrial dragon.
We also tried a few cocktails and the Lebowski was very tasty.
When I looked at the food menu I wished that I was hungry as the selections looked good.
I think my next visit to this area will be only to come here again.
Great service and great beer!!

Went for a nice family meal after seeing a movie across the street. A lovely place with an array of foods and drinks to chose from. We sat in a booth and had plenty of room for the three of us. Great time!

Visited on a Wednesday night while in the area.

Parking on the main street wasn’t a problem…with spots available within a block or two distance. I believe is it free after 6pm…so no need to pay after that time.

Place was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night…there was a Phillies game on and trivia that night so it may have drawn the crowd. Despite the crowd, I was immediately able to get a counter-height table. (Standard tables/booths, counter-height tables and bar seating available throughout the space)

Great environment and decor. Love the wood-theme throughout the space. Very neat and well-maintained.

A great variety of beer an food options. Various types of beer available. Definitely some interesting and delicious-sounding food creations. I had the chicken, bacon ranch flatbread which was really good.

Definitely got the impression that they were very local freindly. Lots of familiar faces around that night evident by the conversations and interactions between staff and the patrons.

Prices were fair for a place like this…I love that they offer a variety of beer sizes to choose from. It’s good way to pace yourself with the stronger beer options.

All staff were friendly and efficient.

Overall a good experience…would love to return to try out some other beer and food options.
