Modest option for traditional Mexican fare with sodas & smoothies plus specialty groceries.

Fun & Delicious Mexican cuisine in a unique humble setting. The experience was one of authentic dishes, made fresh by a group of friendly ladies. Wonderful smiling service.
It’s located inside a small Mexican grocery store with fresh bakery products, sold inside traditional self serve showcase.
We tried a variety of items. Ingredients tasted fresh & dishes were well prepared.
In the bakery we bought a “Pan de Los Muertos” (translated bread of the dead, but it made as a remembrance of a loved one who has passed away. The bread is made during the months of October/November. Its texture is similar to an Italian Panettone.
Enjoy! Hope to return on our next Gettysburg visit

Just moved back to PA and wondered, if it’s possible to find the level of authentic Mexican, to which, I’ve become so accustomed, while 30+ years, below the Mason Dixon. Thanks to Door Dash – I’ve found it! Hands-down: the Best Tongue, I’ve ever had: tender, plentiful & lightly seasoned. They’re generous w/the Cilantro, as well. The Chips, Salsa, Guacamole & Queso are also obviously fresh/same-day-made. So looking forward to visiting the restaurant to Dine-In.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. It is the best Mexican I have had, with the exception of two places in Houston, Texas. The prices are reasonable and the service terrific! The Shrimp Enchiladas were amazing!! Do not pass up the opportunity to have a meal at this establishment.

This little spot is so homey and sweet. The people who work there are so kind, it felt like being in someone’s home. The food is simple but really good, I would definitely go back.

I love the fact that this place offers unique tacos and a lot of food that other restaurants don’t but the quality is hit or miss, and the prices are high. They charge $3.50 to add sour cream for 3 tacos, when they literally sell that same sour cream in the grocery store section for cheaper. Felt like a scam.
The salsas are AMAZING, (best salsa ive tried in my life) but the meat is hit or miss. Sometimes its a bit overcooked and dry, and I see that other reviews agree. Their tacos al pastor are also dissapointing because there is barely any pineapple at all. Most places put chunks of pineapple and theres had maybe a teaspoon spread between 3 tacos.

This place is amazing! I love mexican food and fell in love with it even more after visiting Mexico. Tania’s is some of the best Mexican I have had in the states. I highly recommend the queso fundido with pork and the horchata. I am very picky with horchata and this one is just right, not too much cinnamon and just the right amount of sweetner. I had their chilaquilles which were delicious but they did not include eggs in it which I would have loved. I will be back and asking for eggs in it next time. Friendly staff and I love their little grocery market attached to the restaurant.

Place is a bit “ worn “. Mismatched chairs and tables. I came here for food, not decor’
Was not disappointed. One of the best Mole’ sauces I ever had, ever. Filled with chicken.
I travel a lot. Always Mexican food., this place is great. Service was good, very polite and pleasant.
My meal was Mole’ chicken enchiladas.
Update: 2/26/24
Stopped in while doing work in the area.
Has exact same meal. Was as perfect as the first.
They do have the best Mole’ sauce anywhere.

This little restaurant was such a wonderful surprise today- had never been in, and in the heat, was picking up to take home. I did try to order online and it was not available, but the woman answering the phone made it very easy to order over the phone for pickup. When I arrived early, it was prepared and waiting. The store is stocked bountifully with many spices, baked goods are available in the grocery section, and there is an abundance of products not readily available in many local grocery stores. The food was savory and flavorful and I think I’m going to make a point of taking some of my kids’ for their “special restaurant visits” to this lovely treasure hidden amidst the local buildings of downtown Gettysburg. Often there is a theme related to the tourism of the area, this was a refreshing visit that felt like you were stepping out of the ordinary. Very quiet and small, but most enjoyable to pop in, I will be back- if you like a chain experience this may not be your cup of tea but if you like to explore off the beaten path, take a chance on this little nook in Gettysburg

Very good Mexican Restaurant. Fresh food, perfect portions and friendly, attentive staff makes this place a must try if you are in the mood for Mexican food. The location in the shopping center looks a little sketchy, but don’t let that scare you off – it’s worth it.
