Listen this place is the most authentic and delicious Chinese food I have had in all of Western Massachusetts. Don’t sleep on this one. Small dining area, would probably best to get take out if you live nearby. Their sauces and fried rice will knock your socks off. The real deal! Not greasy, very well prepared.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Tang’s. The owner/staffs were very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty, piping hot and came with a very large portion. We were pleasantly surprised when the staff (might be the owner too) brought us some freshly fried, sticky rice ball with sweetened red bean paste instead to enjoy, they were so delicious and made the meal perfect. My children and I were completely touched by such kindness. This would definitely be our new favorite for Chinese takeout.

My wife and I have been going here for over a year now. This family run business is very friendly and professional. They are consistent with how they cook their food. We have never been disappointed. I had to leave a review because they deserve it. If you haven’t been here before you should try it out. They have great deals, and their lunch specials are only $10. With today’s prices of food you can’t go wrong with these options they provide. 5/5 star. Well deserved!

recently ordered from Tang’s Chinese Food in Palmer, MA, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. I placed an order for chicken fingers, white rice, and Szechuan chicken. The food arrived in a reasonable time, and at first glance, everything looked fine—typical takeout presentation. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
After eating the meal, I began feeling unwell within several hours. What started as mild stomach discomfort quickly escalated. By the next day, I was dealing with full-blown food poisoning symptoms—nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. I have been sick ever since and am still recovering as I write this. I’m certain it was from this meal because it was the only thing I ate that day.
Food poisoning is no joke. Not only did it ruin my weekend and half of my week, but it also left me dehydrated, weak, and needing medical attention to make sure I wasn’t dealing with something more serious. I expected far better from an establishment that many people in the area trust for takeout.
It’s extremely disappointing to have such a terrible experience. Cleanliness, proper food handling, and safe cooking temperatures are basic expectations for any restaurant. Sadly, Tang’s failed on that front in a way that directly impacted my health.
I will not be ordering from here again, and I urge others to think twice. If you do choose to eat here, I strongly suggest checking your food carefully. My hope is that Tang’s takes incidents like this seriously and improves their standards to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

If you go into Tangs you immediately will notice how clean the environment is. The people who work there are always kind and professional. After trying all of the Chinese in the area this is definitely the best all around. I highly recommend the ribs!!!

Ordered a c1- chicken wings with boneless spare ribs and pork fried rice.the Rice was very over cooked and mushy.the proteins were actually very good.. I’ve come here a few times now. Definitely like how they prepare the meats but the rice is consistently the same . And it’s a take out place there’s no atmosphere here lol.i left a picture of the rice on google. Hope they see it and fix it.
