I decided to come celebrate Father’s Day on this restaurant as my husband is Argentinean, I made a reservation couple days ago thru open table, we leave around the area so we came 5 minutes before our reservation time I came in and no one is in front to assist me I ask the server and he help me, the host came and told me my table will be ready in 2 minutes, I saw 2 spot that’s perfect for my party size and waited, after 5 minutes of waiting 2 family came in and I was shocked that they got sit in before me, right in front I ask the host what happened to my table he replied again that it’s almost ready, I’m beyond dissatisfied with this place they made us wait 15 minutes and ended up sitting next to the kitchen. The server came gets our order fill our tiny glass of water, they serve our appetizer and my daughters meal then we waited almost an hour for the main course we ordered parillada Argentina, shrimp Alfredo pasta, rice, fries and took then almost an hour to serve it, the waiter never came back checking on us not even refill our tiny glass of water, nothing special with the food we had better, the only one that my son likes is the calamari, mashed potatoes and all the desserts It’s not worth what we paid for the portion of steak, they also put automatic tip of 20% that explains why the service is so bad. The ambiance is cozy but way too dark the light is flickering all the time above where we sit, and constantly bothered by the door on the kitchen next to our table. I will not recommend this place to anyone I know one of the worse dine in experience we had and we will never coming back again.

We came here for my fiancés birthday and the vibe was so nice. Everyone said their food was good and I had the salad as most of the menu was not gluten free besides the steak. The salad was really good too! They made our sister a grilled cheese and French fries to accommodate a kid friendly meal, which we greatly appreciated.

I think we were the wrong audience for this spot but nevertheless as someone familiar with spots like this I expected more. I visited with my family right as they opened on a Sunday. None of us were aware of their weekend Brunch and we were very much in for a shock. Being the only patrons we didn’t foresee the loud club music that was playing when we walked in to continue for our entire visit, but it did. I understood the rationale for having music blasting to be ready for the Brunch crowd but I did feel like the room could’ve been better read for the clientele that was actually inside. Even so, I felt I wouldn’t even be comfortable attending for brunch as you couldn’t hear the person next to you. We ordered empanadas, lobster spaghetti and some chicken pasta entree. The service, was friendly but nothing special. Overall, we didn’t feel the food lived up to the hype of the spot. It has a great online presence but I don’t feel like it delivered in experience. I’m definitely curious about the cocktails but don’t know if I’d be looking to try this spot again.

One of my friends and I got together for brunch. When I arrived I parked in their private lot. I walked into a super cute restaurant. Ella was our server and she was great. Also, Jared helped and he was awesome too. I started with the red sangria and it was very tasty. I then got the chicken sandwich for my meal and it took a while to come out with my friend’s red snapper. When my chicken sandwich came out it was drenched with cheese and it didn’t say that on the menu. I was kind of turned off especially since it took a while to come out so didn’t want anything at that point. Elle and Jared made it right by getting me a drink and an appetizer. I so appreciated that. My friend enjoyed her red snapper. I enjoyed the shrimp appetizer. The atmosphere, drinks, and service were really good. I would return.

While there isn’t exactly an Argentine neighborhood in New Jersey, many great restaurants are located in the northern part of the state.
Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country’s plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef.
One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partner, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It’s now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type.
As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries.
Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry.
Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5.
Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can’t recommend this place.

Beautiful renovations were recently done here. It looks beautiful. Very cozy trendy atmosphere inside. They added a nice size bar and now have signature cocktail menu. Outside is like a garden /lounge. Food and service were both outstanding.

New theme, same owner, but new design. very good, great aromas, new flavors and dishes with art, flavor and love, I liked it. Some time ago it was an Argentina-style family restaurant, now it is innovative and modern, with plenty of color. Tango, its name should have more music like the milonga… however the lounge house type music, classics came out something delicious I agreed with the time of an exquisite dinner. Thank you

Very cute atmosphere. Drinks were phenomenal. Appetizer portions are small but tasty. Tomahawk was such a fun experience , however it was overcooked. Dessert was good. Would recommend for experience/ ambiance and drinks more than food.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was comfortable (Rüfüs Du Sol on mix). Food was an 8/10 (10/10 for presentation). The owner mingled with guests.
I only have 2 complaints:
1) the food was a little overpriced. I’m not cheap, I came here because I like to spend my money on quality dining. But I’d say the prices were about 10%-15% above what they should be. (I get it, running a business is about profit margins, but you have to back your pricing with the “wow” factor)
2) there was a slight lack of that “upscale” feeling once you’ve been there for a bit. The table was streaky with cleaner residue, the bar was a little disheveled, the bathroom had those cheap paper towels that tear 10 times before you get it out of the dispenser. Petty, I know, but it was a nuisance.
Overall I’m quite happy, the Burrata was particularly exquisite, but I know that to someone who cares about their business, honest feedback matters.

Definitely not what I expected. Kinda disappointed to be honest. I expected a better experience and better food. Drinks weren’t great and over priced. You’re going to pay NY drink prices. I ordered the truffle Mac and cheese and had to send it back due to the fact it was extremely salty. The replacement was not salty but did not have any flavor or any truffle flavor.the burger I ordered was just okay it came with fries and those were just average. The waitress was MIA for most of the time. I didn’t even bother looking at the dessert menu. Place has potential but after my experience sadly I don’t think I’ll ever return.
