I am giving this a 1 star for our food experience. My chicken marsala appeared to be a breaded chicken schnitzel, not a pan seared chicken breast. The 1st piece, though flavorful, was rather tough, not tendorized. My second piece was softer.
My wife’s local.stuffed porkchop was tasty until she got further into the center. It was very salty. We notified our server and she apologized and offered to order her another dish. She brought out crab cakes, my wife’s 2nd try, and they seemed to be better. I was surprised to find that the bill included both orders. When I questioned our server, she said that she asked the manager and he said that my wife had eaten half of it and he wasn’t comping that order. He never came to the table or saw her plate. So for our fancy.meal out,(>$136.50 with tip)
We always tip the server, but I can’t recommend this place, nor will we be coming back anytime soon.
UPDATE I spoke with the manager, and he apologized for the night manager, and update our bill. I thanked him for taking time with me to liaten.
I would eat here again. CPK

We went to Tanglewood in Dec for our daughter in laws graduation from nursing school. We, 8 of us, all found the food to be exceptional. We ordered appetizers and entree meals.
During our visit in February, appetizers, kale salad and burgers were very good. Fries tasted like they dumped a frozen bag of frles into the frier and served them after they sat out for awhile. We, 4 of us, Rarely eat fries, so we were all disappointed.
Excellent service!

We arrived in Bozeman early and were on the hunt for a delicious breakfast, and we hit the jackpot with Tanglewood inside The Market! From the moment we walked in, we knew we had made the right choice. Our server, Ally, was so nice and pleasant, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Benedict, and it was perfectly made, and my husband raved about his fried chicken sandwich. My fresh-squeezed orange juice was fantastic. The only thing that was just okay was the drip coffee my husband ordered, but it didn’t take away from the wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

Food: Fondue dip was delicious!! Highly recommend. The fries were great too but a little underwhelmed on the burger. It didn’t have any great sauce or flavor. Very generic. Used the fondue for added flavor which helped a lot!
Service: Server was friendly and attentive
Atmosphere: Very cute and romantic atmosphere. Tables not too close together and has a good amount of space.
Would recommend !

The food itself is solid, and the overall brunch vibe is good. That said, for a place that really leans into brunch, it’s surprising that coffee and espresso based drinks makes up such a large portion of the menu but is clearly not being taken seriously.
Two of us ordered cappuccinos and both came out as a straight espresso shot topped with stiff, over-frothed foam — no properly textured milk at all. It felt like the “barista” wasn’t trained on basic espresso drinks, and the espresso itself clearly wasn’t dialed in.
If coffee is going to be a major part of the menu, it needs more attention and training. Otherwise, it might be better to stick to drip and focus on what you’re already doing well with the food.

We loved the nice selection of wines and the variety of menu items. Tonight we decided to do flights and tapas. The roasted cauliflower was delicious, the cheese fondue with fresh bread was rich and creamy, the meatball was flavorful but a bit dense and the mussels did not do well with the soggy fries dumped on them. Overall it was a fun experience and the staff was friendly.

Tanglewood consistently delivers an outstanding experience through their professionalism, care, and attention to detail. From the very first interaction, their team is welcoming, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure every request is handled smoothly. They take the time to listen, communicate clearly, and follow through, which creates a strong sense of trust and confidence. What truly sets Tanglewood apart is how valued they make you feel — not just as a client, but as a person. Their dedication, reliability, and thoughtful service make every interaction a positive one. I highly recommend Tanglewood to anyone looking for a team that truly cares and delivers with excellence.

Great find during our little stopover in Bozeman – it was pretty good quality food and the wines on tap was an interesting quirk.
With an industrial style decor and seating this is in a nice location with several other eateries nearby.
The cheese fondue was OK – the king salmon and pork chop were outstanding and the steak was very good.
Musssels were good too.
In deserts the sammi was disappointing but the creme brulee and banana split were very good to make up for it!
Though the wines we tasted were not really very good – the Prosecco was good.
