This is a small, no frills type of place that’s been around for a long time.
I think that speaks volumes about the quality of food, and at good value.
There is always a fair amount of various dishes available and written up on the chalk board, my fiend and I have tried to try a lot of different dishes over the years but everyine has a favorite already.
There is only one level of spicy but this is go to spicy comfort food, 5☆! I had a chana masala and dal makhani, your spicy veggie option

Amazing food, amazing owners. Me and my friends were welcomed with open arms and was served the tastiest South Asian food I’ve ever tasted. The chicken tikka was perfect! Succulent, aromatic, and smokey. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. Will come again!

I’ve been coming to Tandoori Palace since I was a kid — it’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Back then, much to my chagrin, I had to share all this delicious food with my family. Now that I’m grown, I’m grateful for the independence to enjoy every bite all to myself — whether I dine in or order takeout.
Riyaz, his wife, and the entire staff have always treated me with warmth and care. They go above and beyond to make every visit feel personal. The food is consistently incredible — rich, authentic, and bursting with flavor. It’s truly one of the best places in the city for real Indian cuisine.
If you’re looking for a spot that combines heart, hospitality, and some of the best Indian food you’ll ever have — this is the place.

I love Indian takeaway. This has been my go to. The first week I ordered, I went back 3 times that same week for take away.
I’ve tried most of their lamb dishes. I enjoyed their spice blend and how they bring the heat esp if you ask for it in the comment section.
Their naan is very good and their rice is consistently fluffy and cooked properly.
The ladies working there are super nice and informative if you are confused about the different sauces/curries. Just ask.
Happy Curry!

I ordered take out from their online system. It was straightforward and I got a discount, which was great. The food was okay. Good flavour, and a good spice level. But there was barely any meat in the dishes, it was all sauce. The take out containers were filled to the bring, but with only 6 pieces of chicken, and the rest sauce. The meat was also very tough in one of our dishes. I probably won’t go again, there are just much better places in Vancouver.

Passed by many times but never tried it out until today. Had the lamb saag & their special fish with cilantro, both were so flavourful! Portion size is great, between 2 people we were only able to finish one dish. This place is a total gem, will visit again & again!

This is the second time I ordered from here and the spice level has been crazy. I’m used to spicy food but this is nuts. I even asked for it to be less spicy.

This was my first time being in this restaurant. The aroma of the spices and naan baking was such a pleasant experience. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming! The portions are very generous. The Naan bread is delicious and is freshly baked in person in a clay oven. I got the Paneer Tiki Masala was such a delicious meal

been ordering from this place from some months now.. its very difficult to find a Indian restaurant in vancouver that serves food with good spices, plus good portions be it naan or sabzi’s. one naan is enough for one person. must try there paneer tikka and veg Manchurian.
