We used to come here almost every day, but this place has completely fallen apart. The food is below average now, and the service is terrible. Today we ordered fish pakora twice, and the two orders came out completely different. The naan was cold before any other dishes arrived, and even after we told the server, he refused to remake it.

We also called ahead for chicken legs and were told we “should have called ahead” when we arrived–even though we did. On top of that, we’ve been overcharged by $40+ multiple times and denied an itemized receipt when we questioned it.

This was the first time I brought my family here, and it was embarrassing. I told them the food used to be good, but we all left disappointed. At this point, the food, service, and honesty are all terrible. This place is not worth your money. Avoid it.

Alright, I gotta say the quality of food here has improved immensely. I’ve dined before and didn’t feel the need to leave a review but friends and I ended up here 40 mins before closing and they hit the mark on everything.

We had to come back again within a week because we were all craving some good Pakistani food. Seekh kabob and chicken kabobs are cooked very well. They’re tender and spicy! Biryani has a lot of flavor.

Excellent food and service! The Paya was rich and flavorful, and the Chicken Daal tasted just like home. Everyone working there was very respectful and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Tandoori Nights for anyone who loves authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine!

To explain: service got a three because I was a first timer and did not “get it”. There is a flow and process to have a stress free visit. The owner and family are friendly and helpful. My group was observant and asked questions so if you read this; you do not have to.

Observations/Rules:

1. Assign a table getter, enter and release the getter.

2. Order at counter Tell them dine in

3. To the right of counter are selfservice plates, napkins and silverware. The pump action dispensed container is Chai, it is gratis.

4. The food will be called out at the counter by dish, or brought to your table.

5. In the mini fridge, there are glass containers for water. Small cups are provided.

Hope that helps:
The meats are excellent we tried the lamb and chicken pictured below. We started with samosa, they are served in a pool of chickpeas. Best chickpea i have had! Very flavorful and a good level of spice- heat.

Nan great with butter and garlic. All the food was freshly cooked and all seasoned and cooked to the right temp, moisture, and just enough char.

The only down side was the mint-cilantro chutney. It was bland. My hope is next time, that will be better. I will revisit for sure. No bar or wine. Soda by the can.

I have been to this place several times. The last visit was APPALLING. They add way too much oil in the food and spoil the appetite. When this was addressed to the management guy i was told the patrons like oily food and that is common with the Indo-Pak restaurants. If you visit this place please ensure that you give specific instruction about how you want your food.

Went downhill. From the tasteless self serve Chai tea to this inedible spinach/potatoes this place feels like they are not even trying anymore. Lousy uninspired Indian food – no flavor mix, no attention to detail. Basically the same quality as frozen Indian food that costs 1/3 less at Safeway. I’m not trying to be cruel – just honest.

ZERO star because I never got to see the biryani.
This place doesn’t deliver on what they offer for a 14 $ dollar upscale price mark!
Raw chicken and masala fried rice been served in the name of biryani by tandoori nights roseville for 14$ per serving!
Upon complaining, the desi guy replies back “Our biryani can’t go wrong, We have been serving biryani since morning”. UNBELIEVABLE
Not going back!
The only complimentary item received was free onion with peel and that too was stale
