BEST BUTTER CHICKEN IN MARYLAND!

NOW this is what you call butter chicken! Authentic, full of spices. Make sure to order the garlic naan on the side. It’s FRESH And delicious, you will not be disappointed.

Friendly staff and great service. We ordered on DoorDash for pickup since we were close by. But the weather was cold and it was raining. We asked if we can eat in and they were so accommodating and sweet.

They sat us down and gave us utensils and water just like a regular customer. Which was more than we expected since we already ordered for pickup.

I’ll definitely come back here and dine in next time and would refer my friends or family.

I eat ALOT of butter chicken from around Canada and USA. Also from my Indian friends grandmothers and mothers and I can guarantee this is authentic as it gets! it has so much flavors. Get the medium spicy, we got spicy before and it’s spicyyyy. (Unless u love that spicy burning tongue feel) medium spicy is perfect with that hint of flare.

Price is great for how much they give!

Interior is beautiful and love the authentic music 🙂

So I bought food from this place three times already and I have to say this food was amazingly delicious. I ordered it on uber eats, every single time they did not disappoint. The food is always delicious and I will keep ordering from them. They prepared it fast and uber eats picked it up fast as well.

When we walked into the restaurant we were not greeted and the floor was covered with water. After 10 minutes waiting in an empty restaurant a gentleman took us to our seat. After 10 minutes waiting are server came to the table and we ordered everything at one time. The Garlic Naan Jalapeo and Cheese Naan was good. The soup was blan, the Chicken Vindaloo and rice was okay. I think the French fries were delicious. This was not the greatest Indian food.

I cook Indian vegetarian dishes frequently. Didn’t feel like cooking, so got a take out with yellow dal and dal makhni here. Both were watery, and virtually with no spices. Sorry, but no excuse for that. I can whip up both dishes in my Prestige pressure cooker in an hour, and they are delicious.

I found sharp plastic piece in the dal makhani I ordered for take out. Tried reaching the restaurant but the phone not picked up.
Fortunately found the sharp piece, imagine how harmful it had been if my kid ate it.
This is just unacceptable service and food prep or packaging – this is almost injuring or killing people.

Attached a photo – see the sharp small object that I placed next to dal makhani on top black background.

Excellent service, generous and tasty portions. Just FYI tandori grilled veggies are quite spicy Clean environment and wonderful music. Own thing that I wonder is if the red coloring they use is safe, it would be great if they had an option of the same tasty tandoori just without the red pigment

The best Indian food around. The owner is so generous and brought us delicious food to celebrate Diwali. I returned that favor tonight by ordering delivery from here. Absolutely delicious and super authentic! The chicken biryani is so succulent and fresh. The samosas are amazing and the naan is fluffy. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience!

If you’re looking for an Indian restaurant that serves delicious garlic naan and festive tandoori chicken here at Kentlands, then I’d say give Tandoori Nights a try.

While I liked the chicken saag here, I didn’t think that the dish stood out well. Perhaps it could be because I’m so used to eating fried tofu dishes with Spanish in them. Ah well…

As for the chicken vindaloo, it was a bit spicy for me so next time, I’d pair it with raita. I know, I’m that big of a baby when it comes to spicy food, ha ha!

As for the garlic naan, it definitely was a 10 out of a 10. I loved that it had the right amount of garlic in it and it was soft on the outside and inside with some crisp on the bottom.

The rice meanwhile tasted good. It’s rice, after all. It’s nice and fluffy, which is great for curry dishes.

As for the mango lassi, I felt that it could use some cardamom, but that’s me.

All in all, though Tandoori Nights didn’t stand out too much for me, I still liked what I ordered. So if you and your friends are craving Indian food late at night, then give Tandoori Nights a go. I honestly went because a friend of mine was upset and he suggested that we go out to eat Indian food in Kentlands.

We used to go to the Bethesda location before it closed. Since then we’ve been driving 30ish minutes each way to Gaithersburg for the food. The food always, ALWAYS, has perfect flavor. I recommend the lamb chops.

Great ambience, great staff. Food was average in taste. Can’t complain because it was fresh but small portions, pricey and tasted the same as any other place. No fancy presentation to justify the price either except the kabab platter which came as a sizzler and tasted great. The mojitos were spot on.
As an Indian who craves authentic north Indian food, I know of better places that are more value for money.
