Tandoori House is an excellent restaurant with great tasting food. However, while dinner was very good, the lighting was not. The restaurant, unfortunately, was as dim as the food is good.

One of the best Indian restaurant in USA. The dishes were rich in flavour. The tandoori chicken which we ordered was so juicy and freshly cooked. Biriyani was also impressive. The owner was so courteous and caring.

This is the worst and I repeat, THE WORST Indian food I tried to eat in bay area. You could squeeze 1 glass of oil from 2 pakora plates. Didn’t even touch them. Even if you are not finding anything to eat, do yourself a favor and try to sleep hungry. At least you won’t waste your money.

My husband and I had the pleasure of eating dinner tonight at the Tandoori House. The waitress and service staff were gracious answering several questions we had about drinks and the menu. Our good came our quickly and was delicious. there was a nice depth of flavor and the spice level was just what we wanted. At the end of our meal, the owner came to check on our experience, which was awesome. We highly recommend this place!

This was an amazing Indian restaurant. The ambience was peaceful, although the bar started getting noisy. Our server was helpful, attentive and friendly. The food was super fresh and fantastically delicious. They also did not way overserve the portions. The dinner could have been eaten family style since the yummy basmati rice was on a plate to share, and the entrees were in oblong bowls, and then an empty plate to fill.

Hands Down Best Indian Restaurant in the Central Valley. Better than most of the Indian Restaurants I’ve been to in the Bay Area and the American appetizer menu is just as good. Definitely get authentic food at good prices and leave feeling full. The Homemade Pistachio Ice Cream is AMAZING!!! I come here at least once a week for the Food and Twice for the Drinks. Love It xoxo

Service was great, and I loved the atmosphere. It has a full bar if you’re into that sort of thing. Where it fell flat for me was the food. It wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t quite live up to expectations. The tikka masala felt a bit watered down, and the butter chicken didn’t have enough flavor. The rice was also pretty bland.

There aren’t enough stars. The location is in an old hotel, large room and spacious table arrangement.

Great food, bat and Owner/ server/ host/bartender. He can and will do it all. Don’t know what to order? Just ask. Great place. Have the lamb chops. The best I have had in the valley or down south.
