I only went in for a chai and somehow ended up ordering the samosa chaat too — and I’m so glad I did! It was absolutely amazing. For some reason, because it was my first time here, I wasn’t expecting it to be that good, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The flavours were spot on, perfectly balanced, and just so satisfying.
The service was great as well — friendly and welcoming. Definitely won’t be my last visit!

We would like to thank the team at Tandoor Chai for making our BBQ party, hosted at our house, a big success. We were looking for a local catering firm who could provide a live food station for 30 guests. We approached the manager and although i don’t think they had done any in house catering in the past.. they were very excited and very accommodating to our needs. The staff were punctual and very professional and friendly and clean. And the food was exquisite. We had few BBQ dishes which they cooked fresh. And everything was cooked to perfection. We also had some items for the mains course which all arrived fresh and tasted delicious. There was plenty of food for everyone. The staff cleared up everything before they left. We had a very pleasant experience with them and a very happy and full 30 guests. We will certainly be using them again.

Loved it no words to say!! Omg a hidden gem in Hatfield. Every person in Hatfield must try this place and food. Food taste reminds me the India’s taste. Almost I tried more than 8 dishes, every dish remind me India’s taste. And coming to service part, I really had great experience.Jatin, the guy who was serving was so polite and friendly. The best thing about the place is – they are giving dine in although at little late times.. finally an awesome food experience.

What an experience at Tandoor Chai! We kicked things off with pani puri shots (super refreshing!) and crispy punugulu, then dived into a chicken biryani that was just bursting with flavor. The bun maska with rabdi + jalebi combo? Pure happiness on a plate! And the grand finale – the Tandoor Chai, served in a clay pot, bubbling with that smoky tandoor aroma – totally stole the show. The golden and black crockery added such a classy touch to the whole vibe. ✨ Amazing food, cozy vibes, and a super warm owner. Can’t wait to go back!
