Pinto beans 4/10 – Strong vinegar taste but not bad.

Me and my husband order the fry fish meal It was delicious. Everything tasted great. I would highly recommend going to tan tan’s. The atmosphere was very welcoming and she was super nice.

Im originally from Nashville, Tn and this is my first time ordering from here. I was craving some good ole soul food and saw this was the only place in BG so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken and dressing with a side of mac, pintos, greens and potatoe salad. The mac and cheese was horrible, it had a weird sweet taste and it was basically elbow noodle in cheese water. Never again. The dressing was ok, a bit salty for my taste and didn’t taste homemade at all. The greens, pinto beans and potato salad however were pretty decent. I also ordered a Philly which tasted under seasoned as well as the pineapple cake which was kind of odd tasting to me. I just wanted to try a new restaurant and I hate to say but I won’t be ordering here again. Oh and the side bread was good.
