My name is Kay, with a Thai name of Kitiya, one of the three owners of Tamarind Thai Cuisine. Flavor packed and fresh texture was very good.

Beef Pad Woon Sen
Simply delicious. Super tender beef. Vegetables cooked perfectly along with my wife’s favorite noodles. Nothing additional required.
Fried Ice cream
Was different than I am used to having only ever had it with corn flakes or frosted flakes around the ice cream. This was almost like a crispy freshly fried donut crunchy and satisfying while having a tender inner layer before a very smooth yet powerful vanilla flavor. The amount of chocolate drizzling was perfect amount not over powering but enough to have that coco flavor.
Banana spring rolls
I did not get to have any since my wife enjoyed them so much. The first one she had she did not say a word just ate. Then said WOW this is great! She saw my fries ice cream with the chocolate drizzling and said ooo I bet a drizzle would make it even better. She asked the waitress for some and it was brought right out. Wife said it was the perfect addition to the flavor pairing of banana and honey.
Facility looked very neat and taken care of. Sign says no public bathroom, but I think they let my wife go. Staff was very attentive and professional while keeping a mom and pop spot vibe. Another table seemed to be regulars which added to the family atmosphere. All in all even being an hour away I will definitely be there again.

Almost forgot the non sweet tea was soooo good I had to ask for some to go. I could not believe how smooth and flavorful it is.

We always come here for Thai. It’s been over five years now Mae and Kay are so welcoming and always make us feel like family. I usually get the Chicken Satay to start and the Prik King Fried rice! We had the crab rangoon today (new item on the menu) and it was great. If you want something sweet we highly recommend the Thai Fried Donuts 🙂 always a great time here! We will return for sure! Duck scallion roll and Prik King Rice in the photos 🙂

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress when we arrived at this restaurant. I really like the decor inside and there was no wait. We were seated right away at a booth.
The iced tea and Thai iced tea were both delicious. We ordered the Curry noodle soup, Drunken noodle with vegetables, and the yellow curry. Everyone was happy with their orders.
I definitely recommend this restaurant! Service was quick and constant too. We were checked on often and drinks were refilled without being asked too. Even though they were busy.

What an amazing place!! We have tried many Thai restaurants in our travels and this one, IS THE ONE! We got fresh spring rolls that tasted so fresh and so delicious, crab Rangoons that had adequate filling and sooo tasty. And for our entrees we had beef pad Thai and Shang Mai noodles with beef. 10/10!!!! So flavorful and honestly the best we’ve had. We will be returning for sure. The staff were so pleasant and friendly. Seriously the best around!

I’m originally from California, but moved to the capital region earlier this year. This has been hands down the best restaurant that I’ve found. The food is delicious, always tastes fresh and their portions are really good sized. The service is great and they’re very attentive. I bring all friends and family when they come visit me lol. 10/10 recommend!

We enjoyed the Khao Soi, and Panang Curry, absolutely delicious. Khao soi had really good portions. We then ordered the Pad Thai, best I’ve ever had. Also we enjoyed a Thai Iced Tea, very good but I would’ve liked a little more spiced & a little less sweet. Definitely coming back to try more!

Tamarind Thai is a go-to spot for my husband and I. We love to go here every week! The food is always amazing. I used to visit Thailand a lot and I can vouch that the food is 100% authentic. Everything on the menu is amazing! The service is amazing as well. They are very friendly and they always make sure that their customers are well taken care of.
