I must say ! I’m not easily impressed, but this food is good !!! My favorite thing was the flaming roll ! The meat has good texture ! Everything is fresh ! I had a good experience! The tacos were very delicious and moist! The rice and beans were also delicious!

I used to love this place. The tamales were my favorite until last year I ate 6 tamales and ended up with food poisoning within 45mins of eating. I’ve never had that kind of stomach pains unless I had food poisoning. I stopped eating there for more than a year. Last night I decided I was going to eat at tamale kitchen while my family ate pasta. I regret this decision very much. I have for the second time become very sick within 45mins of eating there. I am contacting the health department because of this happening twice. I feel like people should be aware of this. I would NEVER recommend anyone, especially children eat here. Its just not worth the price. I ate only the pork tamales both times I got painfully ill. I believe they don’t care about food safety and the timing of food left out. BEWARE!!!

Rude and abusive register service by the snotty young guy taking orders. Also (found out after I paid) that apparently, little cups of salsa are a each dollar extra, which is ridiculous, even Taco Bell gives theirs away! Food; The signature red pork tamale was just “okay”, the masa reminded me of something that was manufactured, not made in house by hand. The tamale had a machine-like wrapped quality to it, and not much filling. The beef burrito was better. Overall, this place is definitely not worth revisiting.

The first time I came, I got a chicken burrito. It was 10 dollars. Take a bite and there is absolutely nothing in it except chicken. I asked for salsa because it was dry and had no veggies, they told me it was an extra 2 dollars.
Another example. Today I got chicken nachos. Mind you, the chips and queso alone id 6 dollars. I got the nachos and opened it up, it was just straight cheese and chicken thrown on chips, already soggy. Didnt want to make a fuss so I just went back through and asked for the veggies that would normally be on nachos. They told me it would be extra. So I paid 14 dollars for chips and cheese with one scoop on chicken on it.
HIGHLY dont recommend. Skip it and go to Chipotle honestly

Beans were delicious.. tamales on the other hand were dry and nothing on them, all masa. I think these were the worst tamales I’ve ever had. If you are looking for GOOD. Tamales at a better price visit la Casita.

Imagine pulling up around 2:30am and you’re the only vehicle there. You place an order and ask for No Onions and no tomatoes on your tacos. The employee reads back your order to confirm. And BAM….they still added onions and tomatoes on your tacos. This place sucks

I’ve been here dozens of times, but not hundreds. Yet. My favorite is the fajita burrito, and I’m consistently amazed at their attention to detail. I’m one of those crazy people who isn’t always a fan of cheese. When I ask for “special no cheese” that’s what I actually get. For those of y’all who don’t understand how this is above and beyond, I suppose you’ll just have to take my word for it. #notLevarBurton
