Had a few bad experiences here in the past. Years ago. Decided to give them another chance . Ordered an egg, bean, bacon special, extra hot chili. Slightly over $9.00. But the burrito was pretty big. Made perfectly, good amount of bacon, equal amount of beqns and egg with chili in every bite. Great job chefs.

I’ve been eating at this location for 25 years. Only thing that’s changed is the prices but they still have the same great tasting food. Service is fast and friendly. Wait time is usually under 10 minutes even if it’s very busy. Parking spaces are minimal, but never had an issue finding a spot. Tamales, tostada’s, breakfast burritos,and the picadillo burrito are among my favorites.

So twice now I have ordered through grubhub and twice my order is wrong. One for pick up one for delivery. literally never experienced this using doordash to order.
I was craving a potato egg chimichanga because this is legitimately the only place i have found that I LOVE that also has a vegetarian option. My husband doesn’t care for their food literally at all. So imagine my surprise when he agrees to get it and I get sent a plain not fried bacon burrito…that I can’t eat. Super.
So now I am still craving a chimichanga and have absolutely zero desire to order from you again. Two days ago you left off ingredients and today you didn’t even try to get the order right. Why? Like. I’m honestly asking why do this to customers?

Ordered the cheese enchilada plate for delivery. Ordered no rice, double bean. I can look past the fact that I got double rice no bean, but the enchiladas weren’t even remotely heated. Literally tortilla with fresh from the fridge shredded cheese. No melting occurred. Heating the food seems like the bare minimum. Rice was gross and corn was rock solid, like chip a tooth solid. Gross!

The OG Tamale Kitchen serves up a decent, affordable standard of CO style Mexican food. Their family meals make life easy when you need it. Breakfast burritos are solid as well. The orange chile is def a Denver thing, and their recipe is respectable as are the tamales. Neither will blow you away though.

So apparently an order of 2 individual tostadas gets you 1 cup of sauce these days. I told the cashier I thought I placed 2 separate orders (i.e two separate items which rang up as two charges) and I assumed one sauce came per order. The cashier was surprised that I said “2 separate orders” because technically it was one order I placed under my name, but there were 2 items in my Uber Eats cart, it did not say one meal contains 2 tostadas, I literally selected “tostada x2” and I told her “obviously I ate both tostadas”, (because I dined in after picking them up), “but let’s say one of them was for someone else. Would we have to share the one sauce?” then I asked “so would I get 1/2 cup sauce if I just ordered 1 tostada?’ And she said no, I would get 1 cup. So I guess next time I will just order in person to avoid confusion due to Uber, and I will order one tostada, pay for it, then get back in line and order the second one, in order to get 2 individual cups of sauce per individual tostada. Because life is better when it’s more complicated and nonsensical for everyone!
