STOP HERE! It’s worth it! Real AUTHENTIC Mexican food.
Pictured is the chalupa and taquitos. I also got tamales and tacos but ate them before I thought to take a pic
It’s in the back corner of the local party store.

This is our go to take out place for authentic Mexican style food made with family recipes and TLC. Dave and Paula (owners) are such nice people as well and we enjoy chatting with them while we wait for our order. They have grab and go options and a buffet at peak times with exciting, tasty and changing dishes all the time. I often just put my order in and tell Dave to “just make it Dave’s way” (he’ll make whatever you like) and I’m happy every time. Paula often has new recipes or seasonal treats like apple tamales too. Drop in and load up on some great food and friendly conversation!

Amazing tamale dinner. They accommodated me with one pork and one chicken tamale with rice and beans. I also got the red sauce and a sour cream on the side but was definitely not needed because the flavor was all in the food. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s in the area very good food very reasonable prices. I was definitely full after my $6 lunch. I really enjoyed the food I ordered.

I never really liked tamales until I came and met David at the Cooper market on d avenue and Douglas. Homemade Grandma’s recipe. Amazing!

This is a small, family-run speciality business tucked away in the back left corner of a rural grocery store. It is the kind of place you go to for good
food, not for fancy atmosphere. It is a simple layout where Mom takes your order, Dad whips the food together and then he hands it back to you in a white Styrofoam takeout box. Together they do an excellent job. A few days ago a friend and stopped in for my first visit. I had a generous chicken burrito while my buddy had four tamales. He still raves about them. The next week we went back for more but Mom and Dad were gone to tend to a family matter. You want something to drink with your tamale? Get whatever you like up front at the grocery store’s checkout counter.
