The place is a great addition to downtown Barre with Billiard tables, shuffle board, and darts. The drinks are great and service is wonderful. No food here other than chips, so you will have to get food elsewhere, but don’t let that subtract from the fantastic experience here!

When we visited on a Saturday afternoon, the place was empty. Mic Ultra was $5 for a bottle. The 3 pool tables are by the hour, $10 for the 2 small ones, and $12 for the bigger one. There is a chess board, a tabletop pool game, jigsaw puzzles, and others. It was a clean, nicely decorated place. The single person bathrooms are unisex. Not sure if we will visit again, as the beer price was a bit high for us.

I’m a barre local, this is my favorite bar. Love the atmosphere, interior, drinks, and there’s always interesting/ cool bar snacks. Good nonalcoholic options, too! As someone who has skipped between sober and drinking, I’ve felt welcome at all times. And the pool tables are wicked nice!!

My friends and I came to Tally’s to play pool on November 9th. Two of us had drinks and the other two did not. When the other friends, both over 21, ordered water because one friend did not bring her id The bartender informed us that she could not be in there because ”that’s how bars work.” We understood and quickly finished our drinks to get out. Soon leaving the bartender chased us out and yelled down the street “thanks for stiffing the tip after bringing in someone underage.” One friend went back inside to explain that we did not feel the encounter deserved a tip and tried explaining that our friend simply did not have the card and we left as soon as possible to not cause any trouble. The overall experience with this bartender was unprofessional and she was plain rude. For the first time visiting, easy to decide it will be the last.

Some friends and myself met up here tonight for a chill b-day celebration. We arrived @ 5:30 pm on a Saturday and had no issues finding seats at the bar. The bar staff greeted us immediately with chill vibes.
We got a couple drinks each and paid for an hour to play pool at their new, spacious billiards tables. Theres a full on shuffle board table too if that’s your Jam! We had a great time here and hope you do too.
