We had such a great experience at The Edge Cafe and Bar! It’s the perfect spot to bring your dogs and just relax. The whole place has such a chill, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile.
There’s tons of wide-open space, including an open lawn where you can play cornhole, hang out with family, or just kick back and enjoy the atmosphere. The rock climbing area adds a really fun touch too. It feels like a place where everyone—kids, adults, and pups—can have a good time.
The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and definitely exceeded expectations. On top of that, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better.
We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed, family- and dog-friendly spot with great food and a great vibe!

We stopped in this cute little spot after visiting Tallulah Gorge. We picked this place because I found it on the Bring Fido app. What a cool joint this is? It gives ski lodge vibes a little bit. Could be because it was cold out it that’s what it reminded me of. Honestly I didn’t interact with any of the staff as I as sitting at our table watching my own Fido but the boyfriend and his dad handled all of the food and drink ordering and I have to say I was a little impressed. You never know what the food is going to be like when you order it from the bar and then they give you a table number. We split a hot Italian sandwich and it could be my most favorite Italian sandwich so far. The bread was delish, there was just enough meet and it was topped with fresh baby arugula which was a nice touch. We each got a local lager that was pretty good. Sadly I don’t know the name but it was good. The he place was cute! It had heaters and a fireplace in the area that we sat in but

It was a little cold today to enjoy it all but I can see this place being a fun hang out spot in the spring or summer. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely return. This place is an absolute gem! Whether you’re gearing up for a hike or winding down after one, it’s the ideal stop. The outdoor space is fantastic – plenty of room for kids to run around and dogs to play while you sit back and relax with great food and drinks.
We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was perfection. The whole vibe here is so laid-back and welcoming, which is exactly what you want when you’re enjoying the outdoors.
We’ll definitely be back every time we’re in the area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal in a relaxed, outdoor-friendly environment!

Great spot! Excellent service and food. Highly recommend the Duck Cuban (amazing flavors). We also enjoyed the BLT, steak nachos, and the sangria on tap…crisp, cool, and delicious. Beautiful outdoor space with butterfly bushes by the entrance that attract so many pollinators, making it extra special. We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our relaxing meal at The Edge while visiting Tallulah Gorge on a weekend! We tried the Duck Cuban & Italian Sandwich which were both really tasty. They have jalepeno queso chips as a side which were fire . There is a large outdoor covered sesting area as well as grassy area for activities, kids to run around, and gatherings.

After hiking for the morning, we stopped in around 2pm on a Wednesday (11/26) to grab some drinks and food. We arrived and were immediately told they weren’t serving food as we watched several orders go out from the kitchen for the small amount of patrons that were there. We also watched the cook berate the only waitress in the place and told her he needed a smoke break and to take care of some things. It appeared he was somehow overwhelmed and irritated. Awesome venue, poorly staffed during our experience.

We wanted to make a quick stop to eat before hiking Tallulah Gorge and continuing our way up to North Carolina, but our food ended up taking more than an hour and a half and weren’t able to hike the gorge. Plus, half of our food came out cold and was clearly sitting out for a while. Would not recommend for a pit stop

I have always wished for a place like this here in Tallulah Falls. And finally, after our beautiful hikes through the park, we discovered this gem and were very pleasantly surprised. From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and charming – including the owner or manager, who truly cared about making us feel comfortable.
The food was an absolute highlight. Everything we ate was simply delicious—high-quality delicious. Not just tasty, but truly exceptional. The view was fantastic; we could relax, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the mountains and the water—an absolute dream.
There is seating both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for us. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much! And by the way, the playground is another wonderful highlight, as it allows parents to relax while the kids are entertained.

A great place to stop in for a meal. The lake is located right below the property with trails and easy access to it. Tons of fun games, a rock, climbing wall and easy place to spend time. Food and service were great. We had a blast. Right around the corner from the overlook!!!
