But as wonderful as the ambiance is, the true star of the show is the food. The menu is a delightful mix of classic comfort food and creative new dishes, and it’s clear that everything is made with care. We started with the award-winning cheese dip, which was creamy, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. For the main course, I had to try the Monte Cristo sandwich, which has a well-deserved reputation as a crowd-pleaser. It was perfectly prepared, with a rich, savory-sweet balance that left me speechless. The Chicken Fried Chicken, another house favorite, was also outstanding—cooked to perfection and incredibly tender.
However, the element that elevated our experience from great to truly unforgettable was the service, thanks to our waitress, Samantha B. Her passion for the menu and her genuine warmth made us feel like we were old friends. She was incredibly knowledgeable, offering fantastic recommendations and answering all of our questions with a smile. It’s rare to find someone who not only provides excellent service but also contributes so much to the positive energy of the room. Samantha B. is a true professional and an absolute gem.
Tall Paul’s is a must-visit in Cabot. The combination of incredible food, a wonderful atmosphere, and top-notch service makes it a standout. We can’t wait to go back, and we’ll definitely be asking for Samantha B.’s section!
We shared cause I don’t. Eat much.
But yes, fantastic joint. My brother’s the head chef. He has a particular set of skills he’s cultivated over a very long and decorated career. The menu is literally his Best Of list of favorites. The sides are always as talked about as the entrees. The cocktails are delicious. His cheese dip is literally a regional award-winning dish.
It never matters what Buddy is cooking up. I will always be there. And if you go and feel the same way, compliment the chef, he loves to hear it and he truly deserves it!
Started off with the queso , which was runny and bland , tasted like I was eating a block of rotel , and for 10 dollars I didn’t get much of it either .
Got the side salad with my entree , just fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes , not the most impressive but the ranch was decent .
Decided to go with the Cajun chicken pasta , which looked quite good and smelled good too , my chicken was undercooked and rubbery , didn’t have a good taste to it and the sauce somehow ended up being quite bland . There were mushrooms , small peppers , and onions in the sauce but was a very underwhelming dish .
My main critique was the side of broccoli we got , for a whopping 6 dollars you can get a side of 6 pieces for broccoli with 2 shreds of cheese on top , an absurd price for such little food .
Tall Paul’s is a 4/10 restaurant decent atmosphere, okay food, and decent staff .
Our table had the gochujang duck wings as our app (highly recommend), French dip sandwich with onion rings (I loved it), and the country fried steak (my fiancé said it was one of the best he’s had at a restaurant). Also, the margaritas were really good.
I normally don’t write restraurant reviews, but we had such a fantastic experience, I wanted to give the restraurant and staff a shout out! Thanks again, and we’ll be back
