since I moved to cheyenne, I’ve ordered five guys on doordash so many times and I always get the same thing, it’s always bacon cheeseburger, but since it comes with 2 patties, I’d usually call them and ask to substitute the one patty with extra bacon, not because I despise the patty, but because I really like the bacon. Sometimes when I placed an order at the store, I’d usually ask for more bacon and I wanted to pay for it, because bacon isn’t cheap.
and mind you, i’m typing this review while eating the burger that has just arrived. so when I had already placed an order, I gave them a call, and as usual, I mentioned my name “hi this is monika…” not even got the chance to finish my sentence, the lovely girl said “one patty and extra bacon for you”, HAHAHA OMG THE BEST FEELING EVER, and she also knew that I loved the grilled mushrooms, so she gave me extra mushrooms ❤️, please please tell her my gratitude, she’s so sweet. and please let me pay at the store for extra bacon next time

Alluminum foil is why I usually avoid five guys. Its sweety and soggy after only a few minutes. I like the gries and the burgers otherwise. So I asked that they not wrap my burger in foil to go. They gave me my bag filled with fries on top and when I got home the burger was a soggy wet mess because they wrapped it in foil anyway.

It’s been many years since I’ve eaten at Five Guys and I deliver for them all the time and it always looks good so I figured I would try some. I got a bacon cheeseburger, a hotdog and some cajun fries. The fries are really good, great texture and they were fresh. The hotdog is also very good, crispy butterfly cut with mustard and ketchup. The burger however is another story. While it is very juicey and decent tasting, it didn’t have any of the toppings I asked for except for the mustard, ketchup and bacon. I got an extra patty which I thought would make it 2 but I guess there’s already 2 so it made it 3.
So I don’t know if that made it difficult for them to put the toppings on or something but I wish they would have said something when I picked it up. I was standing there for 5 minutes at least waiting for the fries so they had ample time to let me know. The workers were saying to eachother that something was irritating them and they kept looking at my receipt on the bag when she was getting my fries ready. While the burger was still good as it is, when I pay that much (pictures attached) I expect to get exactly what I ordered.
Disappointing but I’ll give them another try sometime.

Update, over 2 weeks later, did not get a call back or email. Dropping to 1 star. This is the 2nd time they’ve done something like this. Customer service matters.
My ill wife wants a burger in a bowl. After driving out and getting home, look what we find: her bowl is missing the burger! So I’m waiting to hear back from them after I called it in.
Good thing we ordered “all the way”, or it would have been completely empty. She says, “I’m disappointed that I have to check if my burger is in my burger.” So I gave her my burger. I didn’t want salad. It’s a bit of a laugh.
